The dominant Russians come into the tournament looking to get back in medal contention and make themselves look strong with the win over Denmark.

Finland and United States go the distance
MONTREAL - Finland and the United States came into this game looking to show what they are made of and the fans in attendance got their moneys worth as the two teams went to a shootout and in the end it was Finland that came out with a 3-2 victory.

TORONTO - 2014 Silver Medalists Sweden came into the tournament looking to get back to the finals once again and they have gotten off to a very hot start as they demolished the Czech Republic 6-0.

MONTREAL - Canada came into this tournament looking to end the Gold medal and medal in general streak and started off hot with a 10-0 victory over the miserable Slovakian team.

Denmark edges Sweden in overtimeTORONTO - In a back and forth game that featured Sweden scoring with 20 seconds remaining in the third period, it was Denmark that came out on top with a 3-2 overtime victory stunning the Swedes.

Finland thrashes Slovakia 5-0MONTREAL - Slovakia has now let in 15 goals and scored 0. Finland came into this game riding an OT victory over the United States and continued by scoring 5 on Slovakia to take the 5-0 victory.

Swiss play hard, notch OT win over CzechsTORONTO - In what was one of the best games of the tournament thus far, Switzerland topped the Czech Republic 4-3 in overtime.

TORONTO - Denmark held a 3-1 lead over the Czech Republic for the majority of the game but late in the third period, the rally began and Denmark crumbled in a heartbreaking 5-3 loss.
