Sounds like the Royals are closing in on trading for Cueto

So, the Dodgers have picked up Mat Latos which is okay I guess but they're currently leading a bidding war for David Price. The other teams involved being the Yankees, Blue Jays, Astros and *shivers* the Giants. As long as the Dodgers don't give up some of their top prospects such as Corey Seager than I am fine with any package they put together for Price. I doubt Puig is gonna be in Dodger blue after the trade deadline which I'm fine with.

The Dodgers and Marlins trade involving Mat Latos is reportedly on hold over medicals. It could be falling apart. Now, this doesn't excite me or disappoint me as a Dodger fan especially since Latos has had durability issues.

The Rangers have been pretty active in getting guys back like Mike Napoli and Josh Hamilton, trying to contend in the division and wild card race - As well as trading for Cole Hamels from Philly (which I'm so-so on for personal reasons)
Texas is contending this year, which I'm shocked about. I thought they'd be at the bottom of the pack again.

I identified myself as one (as much as I watched baseball back then), and still like to try to keep up with what's going on down there, but I honestly have followed the Texas Rangers ever since attending Crawdads games (2013 season) and that's made me not only follow the Crawdads and former players, but also I've went after and watched Texas Rangers games on MLB.TV (which is their League Pass and Sunday Ticket).
So I don't know if I can even identify myself as an Atlanta Braves fan anymore. More like I'm pledged into the Rangers organization, thanks to the Hickory Crawdads Low-A team.

With my Buccos out. Im officially rooting for KC or Toronto to win it all. Id prefer Toronto because Im a fan of Josh Donaldson, David Price, and Russell Martin. But either team works for me!

This Rangers and Blue Jays game has been off the chain!! I love postseason baseball, but wow, there's something special about seeing your favorite team play!!
Right now, the Rangers are 3 outs away from taking the series lead 1-0 up in Canada. Score's 5-3 with Dyson warming up in the bullpen, likely to try and close this game out for us.

RANGERS WIN!!
Texas takes Game 1 in Toronto, 5-3! This comes after Dyson throws 17 pitches in the 9th, and replacement Hanser Alberto (at 3rd place for injured Beltre) gets the ground ball and tags the guy from 2nd.
Wow, what an excellent game! Was honestly afraid this game would've been lost. But luckily with Hamels starting in Game 2, we will have a great chance to go 2-0 in this series before going to Arlington!

Darn... A rain delay in the top of the 3rd, Astros leading in Kansas City right now, 3-1.
I truly hope this passes by quickly.

30 minutes and a few tuna cakes later....... The rain has ceased in Kansas City and seems as if the game's about to get underway.
If it had lasted longer, I probably would have left tbh. Rain delays in baseball and NASCAR are just devastating to the sports (I've actually abandoned NASCAR).

I would never leave a playoff game unless the game was called off, regardless of the weather.

I would never leave a playoff game unless the game was called off, regardless of the weather. When I meant "leave" I meant leave the room and write hahaha.. If I actually bought a ticket, I wouldn't leave a baseball game unless it was out of my control. I've sat through a little bit of rain at the Crawdads games, but not much at all thankfully. I hate when people will leave around the 7th inning stretch in a tight game... Like, I can never wrap my head around that!
