Swansea City have completed the signing of Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin. The exciting Spaniard has joined for a fee of £2,000,000 on a 5 year deal. He is thought to be the preferred first choice ahead of loanee Carlos Akapo, even though the former has played every pre-season game.

Swansea City have completed a player-swap deal with AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch club will receive Jonjo Shelvey, and heading the other way will be Norway international Markus Henriksen. The midfielder will be placed into the side and will compete for the holding midfield position with Sergi Samper.

Swansea City have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Tonny Vilhena on a 5 year deal, and have sent Jack Cork in the opposite direction. There was speculation about Cork's place after the influx of signings but his fate has now been sealed. Enjoy Holland, Jack!

Swansea City have announced the signing of Belgium defender Thomas Meunier from Club Brugge. The 6 foot 3 defender, who can play full back and centre back, has penned a 5 year deal that will see Kyle Naughton join the Belgium outfit. Club Brugge will also be able to enjoy the £2.3m they received too.

Summary A good display by Swansea. Had so many chances to win it but numerous lucky deflections saved Norwich. A couple of sloppy errors in the defence but all in all a decent display. Layun troubled the Norwich defence with his blistering pace down the left side, and came close a couple of times, as well as creating chances for the front two.
