Currently in my second season with the Los Angeles Lakers. We're sitting at the #2 spot in the West with a record of something like 17 - 2. I made some trades in my first season, picked up a couple guys in the offseason and made some trades that landed me some the 76ers 2017 and 2018 picks, as well as the Heat's 2017 pick. The 2017 draft class will be the Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram class because I accidentally picked auto-generated rookies in my first season. Also, Kobe decided to not retire last season so he's coming off the bench this season. My lineup looks like this... PG. D'Angelo Russell SG. Jordan Clarkson SF. DeMar Derozan PF. Julius Randle C. Festus Ezeli 6. Kobe Bryant 7. Larry Nance Jr. 8. Jerami Grant 9. Timofey Mozgov 10. Brandon Bass 11. Maurice Harkless 12. Hollis Thompson 13. Danny Granger 14. Anthony Brown That's an interesting lineup to hear it's working that well for you, going small with Clarkson at the 2 and DeRozan at the 3. It's also interesting to see you have guys like Ezeli, Grant, Mozgov, and Granger.. It honestly doesn't look like a 17-2 team on paper, so how'd you get that good? lol Kobe Bryant retired in the first season of mine, so did you win a lot of games your first year to convince him to try another season?? Also interested to see who you gave to Miami for their pick... I'm not sure what convinced Kobe to stay for a 21st season because we only won maybe 20 games but he might've somehow known what this team was going to turn into. D'Angelo in his second season is doing really well, he's averaging 17.7 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 7.0 APG, 1.1 SPG with .488 FG% and .400 3P%. Not exactly gaudy numbers but he's consistently leading the team to victories. My success might also be due to a coaching change as I fired HC Byron Scott and signed the Warriors' assistant coach as my new Head Coach. Chemistry for the team is at 91% and here's the rest of the starters averages... Jordan Clarkson: 13.2 PPG 2.4 RPG 5.3 APG 0.8 SPG .503 FG% .302 3P% DeMar Derozan: 18.6 PPG 3.3 RPG 3.8 APG 0.9 SPG .498 FG% .429 3P% Julius Randle: 10.0 PPG 10.1 RPG 2.2 APG 0.5 SPG 0.4 BPG .419 FG% .500 3P% Festus Ezeli: 5.3 PPG 8.5 RPG 0.1 APG 0.5 SPG 1.3 BPG .466 FG% BTW I remembered the record wrong, I'm actually 14-2.

After ending up with the 7th seed in the west, the Lakers have been set up with a HUGE challenge in taking on the 2nd seed Thunder and to make things even more difficult, D'Angelo Russell is out for the first three games of the series. Thunder took the first game pretty easily in OKC but in what felt like a miracle the Lakers beat the Thunder in OKC thanks to a team effort featuring Jordan Clarkson who has a standout performance with 15 points and 17 assists giving the underdog Lakers the momentum in a tied series heading into Game 3 in Staples Center. Game 3 definitely carried that momentum in a 104 - 93 victory for the Lakers led by a resurgant Kobe Bryant who, in his 21st season for the purple and gold, put up 33 points on 14 - 20 shooting from the field. He wasn't alone in the victory though as Julius Randle had 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. DeMar Derozan also chimed in with 21 points as JC has another great game as the facilitater with 14 points, 10 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. The Lakers have the momentum, the lead in the series, home court advantage and a returning young star in D'Angelo Russell as we head into a pivotal Game 4 against the Thunder.

Yeah, he's some kind of sorcerer with the magical performances he's getting out of some of these guys. Kobe's huge game shocked the hell out of me. He's been averaging roughly 9 points off the bench but Game 3 against the Thunder he showed up. All of a sudden he was getting and one layups and when he started doing that kind of stuff I tried taking vintage Kobe shots that haven't been going in for the past two seasons and he was hitting turnaround fadeaways, crossing guys up like it's 2007 and hitting contested threes. It was so much fun.

So I'm 4-1 after losing my first game in Houston. The duo of Trevor Ariza and James Harden, along with the rebounds Howard was getting, it was ugly. Despite that, I have a good team with Wade, Dragic, Bosh, this rookie Jefferson... I did have my first game with Joe Johnson and he was turrible, but I did give up Deng for him so I'll try seeing if I can get my shot going with him, because if not, he'll be traded and be on his fourth team within a year.

ROFL For some reason it doesn't give me the ability to meet with the GM or any of that stuff. Maybe after my rookie season it will...I hope so anyway or else career mode kinda sucks lol

On the PS3, it's always allowed me to talk to the GM, though it's an option I hardly use anymore... That's strange...

I was just reading up on it a minute ago actually lol and apparently you have to play long enough to get through the entire "Livin' Da Dream" narrative before actually being able to do whatever which is pretty dumb imo
