REGULAR SEASON WEEK 8
TRADE BLOCK
n/a
NEWS
Kelechi Osemele re-signs with Ravens on 5 Year, $34M Contract. Phillip Rivers re-signs with Chargers on 2 Year, $35.4M Contract. COLLEGE: Deleware St. TE Joel Taylor is sidelined with major staph infection in his leg. Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer is NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Tampa Bay Buccaneers MLB Danny Lansanah is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Tennessee Titans LOLB Derrick Morgian is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
KEY GAME STORYLINES
-This is a huge divisional matchup for the Titans. If they beat the Texans and the Jaguars lose their game, they are tied for first in the division. After the shutout in last week’s game, the Titans are hoping for much of the same this week.
-The Texans are missing some key pieces of their defense for this game, FS Rahim Moore and CB Kareem Jackson. With the two injuries, Marcus Mariota looks to have a huge game against the divisional foe.
-How will Marcus Mariota fare against the pass rushers that Houston boasts, including All-World player J.J. Watt, and second year pro Jadeveon Clowney? This is a team trying to prove they belong, and winning against these men will help with that.

POST GAME REPORT
A messy game for both offenses here. Neither quarterback threw a touchdown, Mariota threw four picks and Mallett threw 2. David Cobb ran for a touchdown, and that was after a Houston fumble backed up against their own goal line. It was a defensive battle all the way. Marqueston Huff pulled in a game clinching interception inside his own 20 yard line on a Texans drive that looked like it was heading toward a touchdown. Aside from the turnovers, the game was not much to talk about. The defenses were outstanding, knocking passes away from their targets all night.

REGULAR SEASON WEEK 9
NEWS
The Broncos are the only undefeated team left in the NFL. Dontari Poe re-signs with Chiefs on 5 Year, $37.2M Contract. Brandon Brooks re-signs with Texans on 5 Year, $23.9M Contract. Kendall Wright re-signs with Titans on 5 Year, $16M Contract. COLLEGE: LE Emilio Griffin has picked up a sack in each of his games this season for Penn State. Peyton Manning has the opportunity to break the record for all time passing yards this week. Minnesota Vikings HB Adrian Peterson is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Carolina Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Pittsburgh Steelers HB Le’Veon Bell is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Denver Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
KEY GAME STORYLINES
-The Titans own the tie-breaker on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and so they currently own the AFC South. With both teams sitting at 4-3, the Titans need to produce a win this week against the Saints. The Saints are 9th in Total Offense and 31st in Total Defense.
-The Saints will be missing second year WR Brandin Cooks in this game. The young speedster is a key part of the Saints offense.
-How will freshly re-signed WR Kendall Wright perform? With more motivation, and the knowledge he will be sticking around for a while, will he show why he was given an extension?

POST GAME REPORT
Another defensive battle, but with more lenience toward the offenses. Marcus Mariota threw 1 touchdown pass and no interceptions, while Drew Brees had one of each. Mariota tucked it under and ran with it in crucial situations, and got 52 yards on 6 runs. David Cobb got 80+ yards, but only averaged 3 yards a carry. Mariota did, however, take 5 sacks, as the offensive line crumbled away today. With 5 sacks and 6 Mariota runs (none of which were read options), not even including the hits he took as and after he threw, coverage was non-existent in this game. Offensive line play needs to improve for next week against the Panthers. At the half way point in the season, the Titans are 5-3. This is already more than expected from a franchise with a rookie quarterback, and questions all over the place coming into the season.

REGULAR SEASON WEEK 10
NEWS
With the Broncos’ loss to the Colts, there are no more undefeated teams left in the NFL. COLLEGE: Miami had one of the best finishes in recent weeks, ending with a Hail Mary pass caught by WR Conor Balridge to win. Peyton Manning has officially become the all time passing yards leader. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB James Winston is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. New York Giants SS Nat Berhe is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Indianapolis Colts CB Vontae Davis is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
KEY GAME STORYLINES
-Despite the Titans’ win last week, the Jaguars have taken the #1 Spot in the AFC South, now owning the tie-breaker. The Titans will look to take that spot back with a win against the Carolina Panthers.
-The Panthers already weak offensive line is even weaker for this game, with C Ryan Kalil out for the game. The Titans’ pass rush should take Cam Newton out of the pocket more than he wants to.

POST GAME REPORT
Great game here, coming down to the very end. Each defense had a pick six, the Titans' coming from Jason McCourty and the Panthers' coming from Thomas Davis. David Cobb improved on his game, running for 90 yards and averaged 4.6 yards a carry. Jason McCourty had two interceptions, and Perrish Cox had one. Both of the Titans' units played well, and they capped off this game big time with a score of 26, after only getting 10 the last couple of weeks. Next week, the Titans have the opportunity to face Jacksonville, with the winner being in a good spot to win the division and make the playoffs.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Arizona Cardinals FS Tyrann Mathieu is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Pittsburgh Steelers HB Le’Veon Bell is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Tennessee Titans CB Jason McCourty is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
KEY GAME STORYLINES

-The Jaguars, having lost rookie Dante Fowler Jr. for the season in August, will also be without Sen’Derrick Marks for this game.
-Two young, talented quarterbacks will be on the field this week, as Marcus Mariota and Blake Bortles will duke it out to see who the better QB is.
