The returning Christopher Daniels starts the show by cutting a promo about the Chamber of Horrors match and saying that there is one man in particular that doesn't deserve a spot in the mat and that is Johnny Nitro! He continues to rip Nitro apart by calling him nothing but a little punk that shouldn't even be in TNA. Johnny Nitro and Melina make their way down and Melina gets on the mic and calls Daniels an old, washed up piece of trash who was retired almost a year ago and has no business coming back here. She proceeds to agree to put Nitro's spot on the line in tonight's main event! Daniels chuckles as Nitro looks pissed at Melina.
AJ Styles defeated Rhino via pinfall after hitting the Styles Clash
A sit down interview with Alex Shelley is shown and he goes over his career achievements and he says that this time last year, he was dominating the company and preparing himself for his first World Championship and this year, he's preparing himself to destroy Frankie Kazarian and return the X Division Championship to it's rightful glory.
Hernandez and Samoa Joe fought to a double countout after they fought each other to the back
Knockouts Director Trish Stratus makes her way to the ring with a huge smile on her face as she climbs in. She gets on the microphone and cuts a promo about the 5-way dance this Sunday at Victory Road and says that she has found the 5 woman competing for 2 TNA contracts. She begins introducing them by first introducing her good friend...TARA! She continues on by introducing...SARAH STOCK! Next up is...TAYLOR WILDE! She continues on by introducing...MARIA KANELLIS! She ends by introducing a woman that retired 4 years ago...The Ninth Wonder of the World...CHYNA! She thanks the fans and says that this Sunday's match is going to be wild and that 2 of these women will earn TNA contracts!
Christopher Daniels defeated Johnny Nitro w/Melina via pinfall after hitting Angel's Wings to take his spot in Chamber of Horrors
Daniels celebrates his victory until the other members of the Chamber of Horrors match rush the ring and an all out brawl ensues as the show fades off the air.

Wow, so much that's happened!! I'd personally be having the royalty man debut at Victory Road or the night after, but whoever it is will surely be big enough!! (I hope) Traci Brooks being fired and Trish Stratus coming to TNA? Wow, only in my dreams!! The deeper we get into this, and it's evident by that blockbuster main event, that your TNA is top-notch, and though TNA was rising fast in 2008, yours seems to be blowing it out of the water halfway through the calendar year. Kudos to you, Joey!
I just now realized you made 2 more posts during or right before Fastlane aired, so I'm going to have to edit this post so I don't spam. But was Daniels the "royalty" guy? smh... What a disappointment. :/ Anyway, my predictions for Victory Road are as followed: NextGen (I'll find you and kill you if the Briscoes walk out champions) Sheik Abdul Bashir (going with the wildcard, and it'd hyphen The Elite's rivalry with CTU, and ultimately have Devitt win it) Brittani Knight (her losing it this soon would be wrong, so wrong) Frankie Kazarian (WELCOME BACK!) Chris Jericho Roderick Strong and Pac (continue The Elite's dominance) Nick Aldis (if I could predict a no contest ruled here or an indecisive finish, I would) I don't know how to predict the 5-Way Dance, so I'm just going to guess that Tara and Sarah Stock win contracts?? Can't wait, Joey!

TNA Victory Road | July 13, 2008
The show begins with a video package hyping up all of tonight's matches as we cut to ringside where Bret Hart and Jim Ross welcome us to the show. They say that tonight is going to be a legendary evening with two brand new matches making their debut in the wrestling industry! The Kings of Wrestling make their way to the ring for the opening match of the evening.
Roderick Strong & Pac defeated The Kings of Wrestling via pinfall after Strong hit the Sick Kick on Hero
Backstage, Chris Jericho is interviewed and he says that tonight he is going to show Christian Cage something that he hasn't been shown in a very long time but that he isn't going to say anymore and that the fans will have to wait and see what's going to go down.
We cut back to the arena where Chyna makes her way out to a rather large pop from the crowd. She grabs a microphone and says that she knows that the fans are excited to see her back in wrestling but that she is sorry to disappoint them but she will not be wrestling tonight. She continues by saying that she has found a woman that she believes is the future of women's wrestling and proceeds to introduce ALISSA FLASH!
Alissa Flash and Tara won the 5-way dance after Tara pinned Maria and Flash pinned Stock to win matching TNA contracts
After Flash and Tara exit the ring, Knockouts Director Trish Stratus makes her way to the ring to a big pop as usual. She congratulates the newest TNA knockouts and says that she promised when she was hired by Kurt Angle that she was going to make the Knockouts division into the biggest and best division in wrestling and she is keeping that promise as next month, in place of the annual Hard Justice pay-per-view, a new tournament has been sanctioned. She continues on by saying that the TNA knockouts are some of the most badass chicks in the world and that they are all ready for a fight before saying that next month will be the inaugural ChickFight pay-per-view tournament event in which 8 knockouts will compete with the winner receiving a shot at the TNA Knockouts Championship any time of her choosing. She thanks everyone and tells them to enjoy the rest of the show!
Nick Aldis defeated Jay Lethal via pinfall after hitting Tormentum
Backstage, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Robert Roode is seen pacing in his locker room as he prepares for the inaugural Chamber of Horrors match. Hart and Ross discuss the match and Hart says that he can see Roode escaping with the championship while Ross says that he is going to pick Hernandez to finally shatter the glass ceiling and become champion.
Brittani Knight (c) retained the TNA Knockouts Championship after winning the Knockouts Knockdown Awesome Kong pinned Melina Rebecca Knox pinned Sara Del Ray Brittani Knight pinned Rebecca Knox Rebecca Knox pinned Melina Brittani Knight pinned Rebecca Knox
We get a hype package for royalty debuting this Thursday on Impact!
Alex Shelley (c) defeated Frankie Kazarian via pinfall after hitting Sliced Bread #2 to retain the TNA X Division Championship
Shelley is handed his championship and he holds it high in the air as TJ Wilson blindsides him. Shelley goes down and Wilson begins stomping him over and over as the fans boo. Wilson screams that he wants the title and grabs it and lifts it high in the air as atomic heat is heard from the crowd. He throws it at Shelley and heads to the back.
Christian Cage defeated Chris Jericho after Jericho laid down and took the pin
Following the 3 count, Jericho gets to his feet and requests a microphone. He says that he has had a lot of time to think over the past few weeks and he came to one conclusion and one conclusion only. Christian looks on, not sure what's about to happen. He says that this conclusion was that he needed to work together with Christian and go to the top together. He puts his hand out for Christian to shake it but whacks him in the head with the microphone instead! The fans unleash mega heat as Jericho begins stomping Christian before heading to the outside and grabbing a steel chair. He rolls back in and Christian is on his feet and Jericho smashes the chair over Christian's head and blood begins pouring from a massive gash in his forehead. He continues stomping on him before kneeling down beside him and whispering that he's going to end his career. Jericho heads to the back as a bloody Christian is laid out on the mat.
The Briscoe Brothers defeated NextGen (c) via pinfall after hitting the Spike Jay-Driller on Sabin to become the NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions

WOAH!!!! Chyna caught me off guard.. A brilliant way to spring a debut on us Joey, with Alissa Flash. WOW! So an all-knockouts PPV, replacing Hard(core) Justice, which has always been one of my favorites. Wow, really? That's a little shocking to me. But I'll go along with it. The Knockouts Knockdown was awesome, but I'd only suggest one thing for the next time you do it, is saying at what time mark did they make their falls. It helps me see if there were any quick victories or any last-second steals, so it helps me as a reader. All in all, not bad for your first job! Glad you emphasized on the falls that took place, and you managed to somehow make the layout look clean as well. TJ Wilson versus Alex Shelley next? WOW!! You just know how to run the X-Division, don't you? lol, my TNA booker has a bigger threat than I imagined, even if mine's present day. Whaaaaaaaat just happened with the Cage/Jericho, as Jericho just laid down and assaulted him? WOW!! We'll need a PPV for the guys to settle this one. Just another blinside, totally surprised and caught off guard by this. I WANT TO HIT YOU RIGHT NOW! Briscoes winning is a travesty to wrestling. Get those belts off them IMMEDIATELY!! Wow, Robert Roode retains, likely as one of the better world champions in TNA history now, if not the best. I would've loved to have seen that Chamber of Horrors Match on my television, considering that seemed totally, undeniable awesome. Basically went 3-4 in my predictions, and I throw the Knockouts Knockdown one out because Alissa Flash came in, but I did get Tara right, so basically if I were to count it, it makes me .500 like my Cowboys were a few years ago! Can't wait for what you do in the coming weeks Joey, especially since I think I read that Hard Justice is cancelled.

The show begins with a highlight package of last Sunday's Victory Road pay-per-view before we cut into the arena where Bret Hart and Jim Ross welcome us to the show before the PA system starts up with "God Save The Queen". The crowd is very excited for the debut of royalty and once the song is over, "I Fought The Law" by The Clash hits and the crowd goes absolutely nuts as NIGEL MCGUINESS walks out onto the stage wearing a suit and sunglasses. He walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring where he demands a microphone. He has a huge smirk on his face as he thanks everyone for the warm welcome. He says that he made the decision to come to TNA because he saw that they had the greatest talent in the world and that they needed him! The crowd cheers once again as Nigel walks around the ring. He says that he is making it clear right now that his goal is to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion! Former champion Kevin Steen interrupts him and enters the ring with a microphone. Steen says that he is the longest reigning TNA World Champion in history and that he is not going to allow someone like Nigel to just come into the company and he'll be damned if Nigel is going to get a shot at the title. Nigel just laughs and says that Steen has never changed and challenges him to a match in tonight's main event with the winner getting a shot at the title. Steen is about to accept when Management Director Kurt Angle comes out on the stage with a microphone and welcomes Nigel to TNA and says that the two will face off tonight with the winner facing Robert Roode for the championship on August 14th on TNA's special Impact: Night of Champions where every title will be defended! Nigel and Steen shake hands.
Alex Shelley defeated Johnny Nitro w/Melina [non-title match] via pinfall after hitting the Sliced Bread #2
Following the match, TJ Wilson comes down to the ring once again but this time, Shelley is ready for him. The two have an intense staredown as we cut away to a hype video for TNA's inaugural ChickFight tournament.
Tara defeated Velvet Sky via pinfall after hitting Widow's Peak to qualify for ChickFight
Chris Jericho comes to the ring and cuts an extremely intense promo on Christian Cage saying that he is going to end his career and that Cage will be lucky if he'll ever be able to walk again once he's done with him. Jericho says that he wants Cage one-on-one in an unsanctioned match so that TNA will not be held liable for the damage that he causes to Cage's body. He says that he's giving Cage one week to come up with his answer!
Awesome Kong & Sara Del Ray defeated Melina & ODB via pinfall after Kong hit Melina with the Awesome Bomb to qualify for ChickFight
Former TNA World Tag Team Champions, Chris Sabin and Austin Aries come to the ring and cut a promo on The Briscoe Brothers saying that they are cowards because they are not even in the arena tonight because they knew that they would lose those championships that they stole last Sunday. Sabin says that at Impact: Night of Champions, they will regain the titles that are rightfully theirs!
Nigel McGuiness defeated Kevin Steen via pinfall after hitting the Jawbreaker Lariat to earn a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Woah! Could "The Royalty" Nigel McGuinness be the next world champion? WOW! Talk about a buzzing debut. The Jericho promo was done perfectly, and I hope we get the match!! I don't know if that's the perfect place at Impact: NOC, but I'm sure you'll find something. NextGen better get their titles back - 'nuff said

TNA Impact | July 24, 2008
The show begins with Chris Jericho standing in the center of the ring. He has a microphone in hand as the crowd boos him. He cuts a scathing promo on Christian Cage again and reminds us of challenge that he put out last week. With that said, Christian Cage makes his way out and is handed a microphone. He says that Jericho is one of the most vile and disgusting human beings that he's ever seen in the wrestling business and that he accepts Jericho's challenge which will occur at Impact: Night of Champions! Jericho tells Cage that he just signed his own death warrant. Jericho goes to whack Cage with the microphone but he ducks and proceeds to hit Jericho with the Unprettier before exiting the ring as the crowd cheers for him.
Alissa Flash defeated Angelina Love via submission after locking in the fujiwara armbar to qualify for ChickFight
Knockouts Director Trish Stratus appears on the titantron and says that tonight, we will find out the final 4 members of the ChickFight tournament and that a battle royal will occur featuring every knockout, including those that failed to win their qualifying matches with the final 4 qualifying for the first ever ChickFight tournament!
Roderick Strong & Pac defeated Team 3D via pinfall after Pac hit Devon with the Flaming Star Press
Following the match, Sheik Abdul Bashir and Nick Aldis both make their way to the ring where Bashir demands a microphone and cuts a promo saying that by the end of 2008, he will be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and that the members of the "CTU" will no longer be in TNA. He continues by saying that as soon as he wins the championship, the company will finally be killed. He continues ranting and raving until the 4 members of the Counter Terrorist Unit hit the ring and a huge brawl erupts between the two teams which leads to The Elite fleeing through the audience as Devitt, Lethal, Castagnoli and Hero stand tall in the ring.
Rebecca Knox, Shelly Martinez, Jackie Moore and Gail Kim win the Knockouts Battle Royal to qualify for ChickFight
Following the match and the knockouts exit the ring, the arena blackens as a strange voice is heard claiming that the end is near. A white face-painted face is flashed on the screen but the crowd is not sure who it is. The words "The End is Coming" scrawl across the screen as blood starts "leaking" from the letters and the lights come back on. Bret Hart and Jim Ross are taken aback and aren't sure what to think about what we just saw.
Robert Roode & Chris Jericho defeated Nigel McGuinness & Christian Cage via DQ after Jericho hit Cage with a steel chair
Following the match, both members of each team brawl as the show fades off the air.
