How's it going folks? I'm sure a few of you remember me, I'd be surprised if you didn't, but I'm sure there's plenty that haven't ever heard of me. I was the founder of The Universe (reason why my forum name has been God on some of these sites) and an active poster there following the collapse of the WWE Universe forums. I know spend most of my online time (which isn't a lot) on Wrestling Clique as I've been there since 2010. I'm happy enough there as I watch limited wrestling, post infrequently but I am quite well known and liked. I hunted down you guys for two reasons 1) to do some RP'ing with my most famous CAW (Twista XL) and mainly 2) create a booking league. Anyone who knows me knows that since the WWE Universe forums collapse back in 2010 I have been obsessed with seeing one work. I don't know if it's because I was a member of 4reals successful IFWL or whether it's because I believe us but I had to come back and give it one last try. I'm effectively making this post to gauge interest and see if there's any point. If there isn't enough interest I'll just stick around to RP occasionally with Twista.
Hope I've found you all well and in good health.

I gauged interest not too long ago, and there was some. I'm sure we'd be able to try one.

I've been thinking about it for a long time and I genuinely think there needs to be self-production for this to work. Everyone having a two-hour weekly show on a set night is too rigid and too much of a workload for some. I think to work, our bookers need to exist in the same universe and be aware of each other but it shouldn't have to follow the same format as one another. Just as there are promotions that do weekly shows IRL there are promotions that run super-cards once a month, that should be allowed in our alternative universe. The competition aspect of it is moot, we can have end of the year awards and such but really we should just be trying to build up our own alternative universe. I think the way this should work is a draft and after that it is up to the promoter if he wants to run 1 show every 2 months or 2 shows every week.
I think five, even four, would be more than enough to start this up.

Anyone could have any schedule, whether it be a weekly show, a monthly show, or completely free form, where you can just post a show when you can. I did, however, require a monthly PPV show, but it could be written in any format.

It's problematic, even with the WWE, monthly PPVs are shoe-horned in when perhaps a lesser schedule would be better suited to the story being told. The early ideas I have for my company in this would involve an episodic approach - much like Lucha Underground - with just one big show at the end of the Season. I agree that there should be a requirement of at least some from of output monthly though.

"Hi. I'm Paul wight. Let's take a look back at the last year shall we?"
But yeah I'd be in if everything was free form. Shared universe with everything else being up to the owner sounds awesome.
