With the Regular Season coming to an end, 14 teams will no longer be thinking about the playing games but instead will be thinking about the 2016 NBA Draft.

A mock draft I just saw, though the Lottery hasn't happened yet (so take it with a grain of salt), has these first 3 picks:
1. Philadelphia taking Ben Simmons 2. LA Lakers taking Brandon Ingram 3. Boston taking Dragan Bender (via Nets)
And even without Hinkie, Sixers fans are trusting the process.

While he may end up being right, his sources are lying. The Lakers never leak internal stuff like this. Several beat writers and national media people have said that the Lakers front office are notriously stingy with news stories like that. Most of the stuff they leak out usually turns out to be smokescreens.

Mitch Kupchak says he got a laugh out of the rumors that they will trade their 1st rd pick: "That's not how I operate." (via @espnla710)

Though I would say the Lakers would benefit in a trade (I heard) that would send George to the Lakers and the #1-3 pick to the Pacers, I don't think Indiana would be dumb enough to do this. Well, on second thought, maybe getting PG13 and Frank Vogel as the assistant coach.. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... But nah, Indiana's not dumb, they wouldn't trade Paul George.

I don't believe half of the Lakers trade rumors and free agent speculation. Yes, I've heard the same rumors and seriously doubt their validity. It's just the media trying to make up stories to keep the Lakers relevant.

So, I had a dream regarding the NBA Draft lottery that's coming up in 3 days. The Lakers dropped to number three overall, Philadeliphia dropped to number two overall and the Minnesota Timberwolves jumped from 5th to 1st.

Yeah but there isn't anyone in the 3-5 range that the Lakers could get and would fit well. In the scenario with the Sixers getting the 2nd pick, they likely pick Brandon Ingram which means the Sixers would have Duke's top prospects from the last two drafts.

If the Lakers don't land the #2 or #1 pick then I want it gone so we have a guaranteed pick next year in a much deeper draft.

Just ran a simulation on tankathon.com and told myself this is it. The last time I'll simulate the lottery and it was exactly this.

If the Sixers win the lottery and end up with the #1 pick and the Lakers pick at 4, I see them making some big trades. Their new GM is the opposite of their old one. He's more interested in veteran players than adding a ton of young players. Instant gratification.
