BREAKING NEWS!
Lions QB Matthew Stafford and WR Golden Tate have both been placed on Injured Reserve. The strangest thing is, there's no leaks or reports out of what exactly the injuries are. However, they will miss the final two games of the 3-11 Lions season.

NFL Coaching Carousel
New Orleans Saints and Sean Payton mutually agree to part ways. Payton was 85-56 in his 9 seasons with the Saints, including 5 playoff berths and a Super Bowl victory back in the 2009 season.
Detroit Lions fire head coach Jim Caldwell after a 3-13 season. He ends his two years in Detroit with a 14-18 record and one playoff appearance.
Tennessee Titans fire head coach Ken Whisenhunt after a 3-13 season. He ends his two years in Tennessee with a 5-27 record, finishing in the bottom three of the league both years.
Philadelphia Eagles fire head coach Chip Kelly after a 7-9 season. He ends his three-year stint in Philly with a 27-21 record, winning the NFC East once.
Indianapolis Colts fire head coach Chuck Pagano after an 8-8 season. He ends his four-year tenure at Indianapolis with a 41-23 record, winning the AFC South his first three years with 11-5 records.
And despite Black Monday leaving 5 head coaching vacancies, the Miami Dolphins have taken the interim tag off Dan Campbell, to make him the official head coach entering the 2016 NFL Season, after turning around the team. Campbell took over a 1-3 team and went 8-6 to finish out the year 9-7.

News out of the Wild Card Round
The Texans beat the Jets, led by Coach of the Year candidate Todd Bowles. Houston feels they have the defense to go to Cincinnati and shut down Andy Dalton. Eifert's expected to play this game after missing the last month with a back issue.
The Rams fell short to the Giants, 26-20, as a Nick Foles pass intended for Stedman Bailey sailed over Bailey's head into rookie Landon Collins hands. The Giants love their chances, as 2007, 2011, and now 2015, their defense is coming on and know anything is possible. As for the Rams organization, they want both Jeff Fisher and Nick Foles back next season, but the owner has already promised a NFC West division title, disregarding the stiff competition.
The Raiders went to Denver and beat the division rival Broncos, who had Peyton Manning start his first game since October. Manning was benched at halftime and Osweiler came in, who came back from the 17-point deficit to force overtime, but couldn't pull it out. It's uncertain if Peyton will be a Bronco next season, or someone new will be the quarterback.
Despite a double-digit road victory over the Cardinals, Seattle looks to be shorthanded going to Carolina. Graham will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a ruptured Achilles, an injury suffered in the Wild Card win over Arizona. Also, the team expects for Cary Williams to miss his second-straight game with a hamstring issue, along with out of the secondary with a concussion suffered in the 4th Quarter of the Cardinals game.

News out of the Divisional Round
The Bengals were able to beat the Texans, 19-6, but suffered a huge loss, with Mohamed Sanu ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs with a collarbone injury suffered in the 3rd quarter of the win. The Texans were pleased with their output this season, but drastic changes are expected to be made offensively.
The Giants fell short to the Packers, 40-34 at Lambeau in overtime. The gigantic question is the futures of DE Jason Pierre-Paul, as well as head coach Tom Coughlin. The organization wants both back, but Pierre-Paul has come out saying he's unsure of what the future holds, while Coughlin's contemplating retiring from coaching.
A week after the Raiders went to Denver and pulled off a huge upset against the rival Broncos, they went to Foxborough and got stomped by the Patriots. With Coach of the Year candidate Jack Del Rio and rising offensive weapons Derek Carr and Amari Cooper, the Raiders fanbase finally has something to look forward to heading into an NFL season. The Davis family wants to help the young offense, but at the same time, get younger and quicker on the defensive side.
With the Seahawks plagued with injuries, their hopes of going to another Super Bowl were flushed on the road by the Panthers, only losing by six points when Luke Kuechly made an acrobatic interception off Russell Wilson at the end of the game, sealing the 12th Man's fate. The big questions surround Marshawn Lynch and if he'll be a Seahawk come 2016. There's questions of a retirement for the running back who turns 30 in April, or seeking his third NFL team.
The Bengals and Patriots meet in the AFC Championship Game, while the Patriots continue their conquest to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. This will be the first meeting this season between the two teams.
The Packers and Panthers meet in the NFC Championship Game, with Rodgers seeking his second Lombardi and Cam Newton searching for his first. The Packers and Panthers met earlier in the season in Week 9 in Carolina, with Green Bay taking the game 20-17, handing Carolina its first defeat.
