SEASON PREVIEW
The St. Louis Rams are coming off a 6-10 season, and have traded Sam Bradford away for a second round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles also received the Rams’ 5th Round Pick, and the Rams also received Quarterback Nick Foles, who is projected to be the Week 1 Starer for the Rams. Austin Davis, who played in relief of Sam Bradford last year, Case Keenum and rookie Sean Mannion are all in the running for the starting job as well. In the 2014 NFL Draft, the Rams selected Todd Gurley 10th overall, and he is projected to be the Week 1 Starter. The Rams schedule is as follows:

PRESEASON
Week 1
-The Rams are fielding offers for DT Michael Brockers, but have not accepted any offers. -The Rams make an offer for Dallas Cowboys RG Mackenzy Bernadeau, but it is not accepted. -The Rams and the New Orleans Saints have made a deal! The Rams will receive C Tim Lelito, and the Saints will receive a third round selection. -The Oakland Raiders defeat the St. Louis Rams 33-30. Todd Gurley committed a fumble, which doesn’t help his stock. He also only ran for 2.9 yards a carry, while Tre Mason ran for 4.2 YPC and held on to the ball.
Week 2
-The Rams continue to listen to offers for Michael Brockers, but still have not accepted anything. -The Rams must cut 6 players. These players are the following: —HB Isaiah Pead —HB Chase Reynolds —WR Devon Wylie —TE Jake McQuaid —C Demetrius Rhaney —RT Steven Baker -The Tennessee Titans defeat the St. Louis Rams 20-16. No Quarterback threw a touchdown, and both Foles and Davis threw an interception. Tre Mason outperformed Todd Gurley again, but Gurley improved his game this week. Austin Davis ran for a touchdown. Aaron Donald got 1.5 sacks in limited playing time, and Jo-Lonn Dunbar got an interception.
Week 3
-The Rams and the Tennessee Titans have made a deal! The Titans will receive DT Michael Brockers, and the Rams will receive MLB Zach Brown and a 2016 4th Round Pick. -The Rams must cut 6 players. These players re the following: —LE Ethan Westbrooks —RE Martin Ifedi —DT Louis Trinica-Pasat —MLB Daren Bates —SS Christian Bryant —SS Maurice Alexander -The Indianapolis Colts defeat the St. Louis Rams 24-13. For the second week, no QB threw a TD, while Foles and Davis threw an interception. Todd Gurley improved again, and beat Tre Mason this week, as he ran for 4.4 YPC. Tre Mason also fumbled once, but ran for a TD. Aaron Donald, Robert Quinn and Nick Fairley all got a sack, while Akeem Ayers, Chris Long, Marshall McFadden and James Laurinaitis all split 2 sacks. -CB Brandon McGee suffered a Broken Collarbone in the game against the Colts, and will miss 5 weeks.
Week 4
-The St. Louis Rams must cut 6 players. These players are the following: —QB Case Keenum —HB Malcolm Brown —TE Alex Bayer —TE Justice Cunningham —RT Brandon Washington —ROLB Kory Toomer -The Kansas City Chiefs defeat the St. Louis Rams 27-21. Austin Davis threw 2 touchdowns, but threw a pick, while Nick Foles completed 0/2 passes. Tre Mason and Todd Gurley born ran for 4 YPC. Mason got a touchdown, and also fumbled, in more playing time. William Hayes had 2 sacks, Zach Brown had 1.5, Chris Lond with 1, Mark Barron, T.J. McDonald and Aaron Donald all got .5 sacks. Truman Johnson, Rodney McLeod and Alec Ogletree all intercepted pass, with Ogletree and Chris Long forcing a fumble. Long recovered one of those.

REGULAR SEASON
Week 1
-The Rams start the season at home against the Seattle Seahawks. After an 0-4 preseason, the Rams will look to reverse fortunes and start the season on a high note. -The St. Louis Rams have confirmed that they will be moving to a new city next season! -The Seattle Seahawks defeat the St. Louis Rams 27-19. Nick Foles threw for 182 yards, 0 TDs and 2 interceptions. Todd Gurley ran for his first NFL touchdown, rushing for 70 yards on 18 carries. Brian Quick had the best day receiving, with 7 receptions for 95 yards. James Laurinaitis got the Rams’ only sack, while Rodney McLeod and E.J. Gaines each got an interception. Mark Barron and Aaron Donald each forced and recovered a fumble as well. -Nick Fairley suffered a dislocated ankle in the game against the Seahawks, and will miss 7 games.
Week 2
-After a loss in Week 1 to the division rival Seattle Seahawks, the Rams go on the road to face the Washington Redskins. In the weak NFC East, the Rams have a chance to topple the Redskins. -The St. Louis Rams defeat the Washington Redskins 23-9. Nick Foles rebounded from a bad game against the Legion of Boom to throw for 221 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception. Todd Gurley added 71 yards on 22 carries, but fumbled once. Brian Quick and Tavon Austin caught Foles’ 2 touchdown passes. Robert Quinn got 2 sacks, Aaron Donald got 1 and James Laurinatitis, Janoris Jenkins, Alec Ogletree, William Hayes, Marcus Roberson and Eugene Sims all got .5 sacks. Janoris Jenkins also got 2 interceptions in the game off of Robert Griffin III.
Week 3
-The Rams picked up their first win of the season against the Washington Redskins, and will come back home for a game against the 0-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are missing a few platers, most notably Le’Veon Bell. Cameron Heyward, William Gay and Joe Kruger will also be missing this game for the Steelers. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams seem to be looking at the draft’s 3 top Quarterback’s tape. Zach Bryan out of Wisconsin, Ishaq Goode out of Alabama, and Logan Goodman out of Texas A&M. The Rams are monitoring all Quarterbacks in this draft, but have shown most interest in the Top 3. -The St. Louis Rams defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-20. Ben Roethlisberger went down for part of the game, forcing Bruce Gradkowski into the game. The Steelers running game suffered, with DeAngelo Williams running for 68 yards on 20 carries. on the Rams side, Nick Foles also went down during the game, forcing Austin Davis into the game. Davis threw for 212 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Todd Gurley didn’t fair much better than DeAngelo Williams, getting 77 yards on 22 carries. Brian Quick and Tavon Austin were again the players to catch touchdowns. Quick caught 8 for 116 yards. Aaron Donald also dominated this game, getting 3 sacks. Chris Long got 1.5 sacks, while Janoris Jenkins got that last .5 a sack. There were no interceptions, and one forced fumble, which was not recovered.
Week 4
-The Rams are sitting at 2-1 after pulling out the upset against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They now travel to Arizona to face their divisional rival, the Arizona Cardinals, who are also 2-1. Nick Foles will return to the lineup for this game, but could be benched in favor of Austin Davis if he has a poor outing this week. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams are doing their due diligence on Wide Receivers, looking to improve their WR corps. -The Arizona Cardinals defeat the St. Louis Rams 20-15. Nick Foles threw for 325 yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions, and will be replaced by Austin Davis for Week 5. Todd Gurley ran for 44 yards on 14 carries, and fumbled twice. The running game suffered due to the Rams playing from behind most of the game. Gurley did, however, catch the touchdown pass, and caught 4 for 64 yards. Kenny Britt hit 100 yards this game on 6 catches. Aaron Donald got 2.5 sacks, Robert Quinn got 1.5, Chris Long for 1, and James Laurinaitis, Truman Johnson, Akeem Ayers, and Janoris Jenkins each got .5 a sack. There were no interceptions or forced fumbles. -RG Barrett Jones suffered a broken thumb during the Cardinals game and will miss 3 games.

REGULAR SEASON
Week 5
-The 2-2 Rams will travel to Lambeau to face the Green Bay Packers, 3-1. Nick Foles will be benched for Austin Davis this week, and CB Brandon McGee will return from injury. -The Rams have confirmed their move will be a return to Los Angeles! -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams are checking out some of the Cornerback prospects this week. -The Green Bay Packers defeat the St. Louis Rams 38-19. Austin Davis came out of the game early, having thrown 7 passes. Nick Foles proved he wanted the starting job, by throwing for 11 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Todd Gurley didn’t play too well, with 48 yards on 17 carries. Tre Mason and Brian Quick caught the two touchdown passes. James Laurinaitis and Robert Quinn each got a sack, while Janoris Jenkins got an interception. Alec Ogletree forced a fumble, but Green Bay recovered. -Austin Davis suffered a Torn Shoulder during the Green Bay game, and will miss 4 games.
Week 6
-This week is the Rams’ bye week, and they’ll look to rebound off of 2 straight losses to come back even stronger against the Cleveland Browns. -The Rams will not change their name in their Los Angeles move. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams continued their look at Quarterbacks, as well as Wide Receivers.
Week 7
-The 2-4 St. Louis Rams will look to use their week of rest to come out of a 2 game skid and defeat the 2-4 Cleveland Browns. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams looked at offensive lineman this week. -The Cleveland Browns defeat the St. Louis Rams 28-7. Nick Foles went down again, having thrown 5 passes. Sean Mannion got his first NFL playing time, and threw 218 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Todd Gurley gained 52 yards on 13 carries. No one stood out in the passing game, and there were no big defensive plays. Tavon Austin did return a punt for a touchdown, however. This was an all-round bad week for the Rams. -Nick Foles suffered a dislocated elbow, and will miss 3 games.
Week 8
-With two quarterbacks down, rookie Sean Mannion will get his first career start, against the 3-4 divisional rival San Francisco 49ers. -The Rams release FB Cory Harkey, and re-sign QB Case Keenum. -The Rams have chosen to mimic the look of the Rose Bowl for their new stadium, with a Deluxe Traditional stadium! -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams are continuing their look at offensive linemen. -The San Francisco 49ers defeat the St. Louis Rams 16-3. Sean Mannion didn’t play well in his first career start, throwing for 24 yards on 14 pass attempts, no touchdowns and an interception. Mannion also suffered the same fate as Foles and Davis, having suffered an injury during the game, and being replaced by Case Keenum late. Todd Gurley ran for 35 yards on 12 carries, and there was again no standout receiver. Akeem Ayers got 2 sacks, and Aaron Donald got 1. Ayers also got an interception during the game. -Sean Mannion suffered an Upper Arm Fracture, and will miss 6 games. -Case Keenum suffered a broken thumb and will miss 4 games.

REGULAR SEASON
Week 9
-With multiple injuries at Quarterback, the Rams will be traveling to Minnesota to face the 3-4 Minnesota Vikings. -The Rams place Sean Mannion on IR, ending his rookie season. Case Keenum has also been placed on IR, ending his season with the Rams after 3 passes. QBs Luke McCown and Tim Tebow have been signed to contracts. -DRAFT RUMORS: Amidst all the Quarterback injuries this season, the Rams are continuing their look at Quarterbacks. They’re also continuing their look at offensive linemen, looking to protect their Quarterback. -The Minnesota Vikings defeat the St. Louis Rams 38-20. Luke McCown played well, throwing 119 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception, before suffering the same fate as the others and getting injured. Tim Tebow came in an threw 2 interceptions. McCown will be able to return for Week 10. Todd Gurley gained 59 yards on 16 carries. Brian Quick and Tavon Austin caught McCown’s two touchdown passes. Nick Fairley, who returned this week, got 1.5 sacks, Akeem Ayers, Alec Ogletree, Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn each got 1 sack, and James Laurinaitis got .5 a sack. Truman Johnson got an interception, while Akeem Ayers both forced and recovered a fumble.
Week 10
-Austin Davis returns this week, and will slot back in as the starter, with Luke McCown as his backup. The 2-6 Rams will have a chance this week, as they host the 0-8 Chicago Bears. Jay Cutler will miss this game, along with 9 others, with a Torn Rotator Cuff. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams continued their look at Cornerbacks, as well as looking at linebackers. -The St. Louis Rams def. the Chicago Bears 24-17. Austin Davis came up big in his return to the lineup, throwing 244 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Todd Gurley did not play well, with 45 yards on 19 carries. Tre Mason and Lance Kendricks caught Davis’ touchdown passes. Aaron Donald came up with the only sack for the Rams, but James Laurinaitis came away with 2 interceptions, while T.J. McDonald came away with 1. Alec Ogletree also forced and recovered a fumble. The Rams came up big in the return of Austin Davis, and came away with their first win since Week 3. -Trumaine Johnson came out of the game with an Upper Arm Fracture and will miss 5 weeks. Alec Ogletree also came out with a Broken Thumb and will miss 2 games.
Week 11
-Nick Foles returns to the lineup this week, but will slot in at #3 behind Luke McCown, who played well in his one game. The 3-6 Rams hit the road in a game against the 3-6 Baltimore Ravens. -The Rams release QB Tim Tebow and sign CB Javier Arenas. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams continue to look at linebackers for the draft. -The St. Louis Rams defeat the Baltimore Ravens 17-12. Austin Davis did not play well, throwing for 160 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Todd Gurley ran for 71 yards on 22 carries, and Tre Mason ran in a touchdown. James Laurinatis, Eugene Sims and William Hayes all got a sack. Javier Arenas got an interception in his first game as a Ram. Avon Austin also returned his second punt return touchdown.
Week 12
-The Rams, who have now won two straight, are sitting at 4-6. They will visit the 7-3 Cincinnati Bengals this week. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams continue looking at Wide Receivers this week. -The Cincinnati Bengals def. the St. Louis Rams 31-14. Austin Davis had a good day, throwing 222 yards, 1 touchdown and an interception. Todd Gurley continues his struggles, gaining 55 yards on 14 carries. Austin Davis ran a touchdown in. Brian Quick caught a touchdown. William Hayes and Nick Fairley each got a sack. Marshall McFadden and Akeem Ayers each forced a fumble, with Ayers recovering one.

-After last week’s loss, the 4-7 Rams return home to begin a 3 game home stand. They will begin against their divisional rival, the 6-5 Arizona Cardinals. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams looked at Wide Receivers, linebackers and Safeties this week. -The St. Louis Rams defeat the Arizona Cardinals 31-7. Austin Davis played well, throwing 199 yards, 1 touchdown and no interceptions. Todd Gurley did well also, with 80 yards on 20 carries and 2 touchdowns, ending his drought. Austin Davis also ran a touchdown in. Avon Austin caught a touchdown. Aaron Donald got 2.5 sacks, James Laurinaitis got 1.5 sacks, Robert Quinn, Chris Long and Akeem Ayers all got 1 sack. E.J. Gaines got an interception, while Chris Long and Eugene Sims both forced a fumble, though neither was recovered by the Rams.
Week 14
-The 5-7 Rams will look to win at home again this week, against the 6-6 Detroit Lions. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams took a look altho eh running backs in this draft class. -The Detroit Lions defeat the St. Louis Rams 24-20. Austin Davis didn’t play well, throwing for 182 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Todd Gurley ran for 79 yards on 19 carries, and got a touchdown. Tre Mason also got a touchdown. Kenny Britt got 8 catches for 76 yards. There were no sacks, but there were 3 interceptions. James Laurinaitis, Javier Arenas and Janoris Jenkins each got 1. Jo-Lonn Dunbar forced a fumble, but it wasn’t recovered.
Week 15
-The 5-8 Rams will finish their home stand against the 2-11 Buccaneers. Last week’s loss ended any dreams of a winning season, but 8-8 is still possible by winning the next 3 weeks. -The Rams offered William Hayes a contract extension, but it was declined. -DRAFT RUMORS: The Rams continued to look at the running backs in this class. -The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the St. Louis Rams 21-12. Austin Davis didn’t play well, throwing for 200 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. Todd Gurley for 51 yards on 13 carries, and fumbled once. Jared Cook got 79 yards on 6 receptions. Robert Quinn and William Hayes each got 2 sacks, Chris Long and Nick Fairley got 1 sack, while T.J. McDonald and Marcus Roberson split a sack.
Week 16

Austin Davis played well, with 236 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. However, he was taken out of the game late, and replaced by Luke McCown. todd Gurley got 46 yards on 11 carries, and got a touchdown. Brian Quick and Stedman Bailey got the touchdown receptions. In a season that was marred by Quarterback injuries during the middle of the season, the Rams went 5-11, losing one more game than last year’s 6-10 record.
