The date is February 1, 2020 and Twitter is ablaze with apparent big news coming out of the wrestling world. Dave Meltzer has reported that a large company has interest in backing Major League Wrestling however, no new information is available at this time.
It has been announced that Amazon has purchased Major League Wrestling. Meltzer explains that Amazon plans on airing MLW weekly on its Prime Video platform.
This news gives professional wrestling a huge buzz. Message boards are on fire, Twitter is going crazy. Everyone is wondering what this all means.

Prime All-Star Wrestling is coming to Amazon Prime on Thursday nights. Get prepared for the best wrestling action in the world as Amazon brings together three of the top promotions in the world, Ring of Honor, Major League Wrestling and Impact Wrestling, all under one roof. Prime All-Star Wrestling will feature many of the top professional wrestlers fans know, such as Sami Callihan, Jay Lethal and The Contra Unit. In addition, some of the top rising stars in the industry will receive their first national exposure such as Alexander Hammerstone and former UFC fighter, Tom Lawlor.
ASW will come to you Thursday nights at 9 pm and calling the action will be veteran play-by-play man Matt Striker, alongside the top color commentator in wrestling today Don Callis.
All-Star Wrestling and Amazon are committed to bring wrestling fans the action they have missed for years. There will be no internal agenda, opportunities will be based on merit and wins and losses will matter.

1. The three companies will be merged into one large company.
2. The new company will have a three person executive board made up of members each member promotion
Court Baurer (MLW)
Scott D’Amore/Don Callis (Impact) (one vote combined)
Joe Koff (ROH)
3. The company will hold 4 tent pole shows a year. (Likely one during each season)
4. Certain titles will appear on the new show with their lineage carried over.
