Sam Roberts: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the Sam Roberts Wtestling podcast and folks, our guest today has come out of the shadows in his first exclusive wrestling interview in 6 years. A man who's gotten his start in promotions like CCW and ECCW. The man, the myth, the legend himself, Welcome back, Chris Xtreme!
Chris: That's one hell of an introduction man. *chuckles* Feel like I'm accepting an award or something ha ha.
Sam: We haven't heard or seen from you in 6 years. Got excited when your name started floating around the internet. So I gotta ask man. What's the haps?
Chris: Well man, I've just been kicking back. Took some time to be with my new wife, we have a little one on the way. Eating my mom's home cooked meals. So really I just enjoyed my time with family and did my own thing.
Sam: So all this time away from wrestling, have you been watching, keeping up with the wrestling scene?
Chris: Not really. I'll watch WWE programming here and there but other than that, I've been pretty low profile. It was nice to just get away from all the hectic schedules, the lights and sounds and just take a deep breath.
Sam: That's interesting because you spent time with family in your home state of New Jersey, which is also home to the famous Monster Factory wrestling school. And last month, a photo of you went viral within the IWC and people starting losing their minds where you were training at the school. What's going on there? What's the details?
Chris: Haha I remember I'm sitting at home and a buddy of mine called me up and told me about the picture going around. Now I still don't know who took the photo but I remember the buzz I saw online about Is Xtreme returning? Training for a return? And the reality of it all is, okay so I'll be 40 in a few years. My family is growing and that's where I want my focus to be. But my buddy, Brian Jacobs, another independent guy, was training at the school and asked if I could come down and speak as a special guest. So I went down and next you know Im training with the young guys. And I've been going back ever since. So it was that feeling of being in a ring again where it got me thinking like I can still go. I believe I still have more to offer amd more to achieve before I hang it up. I've had quite the career dont get me wrong but there was a lot I was never able to do.
Sam: So right here, right now, are uou telling us...you are training for another run?
Chris: Like the industry motto says, never say never. If the opportunity shows up, then we'll see.
Sam: Wow. You heard it hear first folks, Chris Xtreme is back in the fold. Where will he go and who is next in line to face the Xtreme Dream himself. Thanks for coming Chris.
Chris: Thanks for having me.

Where Are They Now?Matthew MaddoxIn the same existence where Devin Smith died of AIDs, one of his counterparts went down a very different path after professional wrestling. This is the story of Matthew Maddox. After retiring from professional wrestling, Maddox wanted to make the world a better place so he left the United States and returned to his little-known homeland of Latveria to overthrow the leader and declare himself king. He then began to use his country's resources in order to further his plans of world domination. These schemes led Maddox into many conflicts with the current Black Panther, LeBron Carter of Wakanda; Captain Canada and even Devin Smith whose returned from the grave as a crime-fighting ghost to make up for all of his wrong-doings as a mere mortal. Maddox's final evil plot was to steal the Forever Glove from Grimace that gave him the ability to snap his fingers in a Z formation and turn half of the universe's population into Big Mac Sauce. Devin "Spooky Testicles" Smith didn't really like this because he preferred Burger King over McDonald's(even as a ghost) so he used some of his ghost powers he learned from his new friends Danny Phantom and Doctor Strange to be able to go back in time and give himself the cure to AIDs that he stole from Magic Johnson. Devin "Spooky Manjunk" Smith successfully prevented his own death thus changing the course of history. Back in the year 2016, he challenged Matthew Maddox to a pro wrestling match before either of them retired. Devin challenged Maddox to put his Latverian citizenship on the line for no apparent reason in this timeline. Maddox was thrown off by this but to accept the wager, he made Devin put his fertility on the line. If Devin were to lose the match he'd have to get a vasectomy on live TV in Ruthless Wrestling Federation. It was Devin Smith's fertility vs Matthew Maddox's Latverian citizenship. It main-evented all of the pay-perview, made pro-wrestling more relevant than ever and it ended after a long match that ended with Devin Smith making Matthew Maddox tap out with his version of the LionTamer, 5 seconds of Fame and with that Matthew Maddox was never allowed to return to Latveria which prevented all that other bullshit from happening. Devin Smith is also not dead now. Devin Smith continued wrestling for five more years; he married Beverly Hill whom he had three children with and he eventually went on to become a big shot Hollywood producer. Matthew Maddox, instead of taking over the world, he wrestled for another ten years before hanging up his tights to become a writer for both professional wrestling and erotic horror graphic novels. They all lived happily ever after. Except for BJ Banghard. He broke his dick in a porn movie where he attempted to literally fuck a girl's brains out through her ear. It went viral. The end.

Where Are They Now? Trenton York
Once one of the most intimidating forces in professional wrestling, Trenton James York now lives a much different life than he once suffered. We recently caught up with Trenton to see what he had been doing since stepping out of the ring a few years ago. Trenton York was one of the most tragic stories in pro-wrestling. The second generation superstar who survived an murder attempt by his own father. Trenton had memorable feuds with the like of Surge and won championships as a singles superstar and tag team gold alongside Zack Horror. As we arrived in Chicago, Illinois, we were shocked to see the changes that Trenton York had gone through. He greeted us with a smile which anybody who ever knew Trenton knows was the first major shock. Trenton York was no longer the manic, crazed, superstar that he once was. Trenton is now married with children. After his retirement, Trenton got married to his childhood love, Katie Costner. The two have two kids together, their first born and only son, James Bryson York and their youngest and only daughter, Alexandria Denise York. Since his retirement, Trenton has opened up his own gym in Chicago to help train the future superstars. He has sworn to give these superstars and his own kids better treatment than he grew up with. Trenton expressed that he sometimes misses being in the ring but joked that he was no longer in ring gear. He also stated that there was only one match that could possibly convince hime to come out of retirement and that was the one on one match with the man that ended his career, Scorpio. While that match seems to be just a dream, who knows what the future can bring.
