We were off to a good start as we named the next contenders for the SPW Tag Team Championships but now we move into a personal feud. Tonight, it would be a grudge match between Matt Hardy and Shelton Benjamin. What should be a one on one match, it was looking more like a handicap match with Johnny Gargano in Shelton's corner. Christy Hemme would welcome us backstage where she would be interviewing none other than Matt Hardy as the live crowd went wild. Hemme thanked Hardy for his time right before his big match but she had to ask the questions that everybody were wanting to ask him. How was he feeling about this match and the inclusion of Johnny Gargano at ringside. Matt said that he knew the odds were stacked against him but he knew that he could withstand everything they threw at him. He said that Johnny Gargano was going down the wrong path in life and that hanging out with the likes of Shelton Benjamin wasn't going to get him nowhere. Matt of course plugged the fans who showed him love back as Matt promised that he could be beaten, he could be broken, but tonight he could not lose.

Matt Hardy had a train of momentum going in his favor as he was already able to connect with the Twist of Fate! Johnny Gargano was smart to grab Shelton's leg and assist him out of the ring where he couldn't get pinned. Matt Hardy would crouch down starring at Johnny Gargano as he motioned for hims to bring it on and get him a little. Johnny looked like he was actually going to fight Matt but only waved him off with a laugh as he checked on Shelton. Leaving your eyes off Matt Hardy certainly wasn't a good plan as Matt sacrificed himself with a suicide dive through the ropes taking out everybody in his sight! The crowd cheered loudly for Matt Hardy's efforts as the referee began to make his ten count. Matt was finally able to get to his feet as he didn't want to win this match by a count out and pulled Shelton to his feet and tossed him back into the ring. Matt Hardy!"
Johnny Gargano flew back in the ring going right after Matt Hardy quickly tackling him. Johnny Gargano had completely snapped as he would go out of the ring grabbing a steel chair for himself and one for Shelton Benjamin. The two would proceed to beat Matt down with the steel chairs sticking any official that tried to stop them as well. Finally the two were stopped by actual police officers in the arena who would force the two out of the ring but the damage had been done. Matt Hardy was busted up and bleeding everywhere as the medics came to check on him. They would call for assistance as they would put Matt on the stretcher looking like a broken man. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
After we cut away from all of the commotion in the ring, we reach the commotion in the back as of course the SPW World Champion was a nervous wreck back in Paparazzi Production's locker room. Even though Samoa Joe was in tonight's match, Shelley knew that he didn't have to be pinned to lose and that made him about lose his mind. Shelley would continue to complain about the rules as he demanded that somebody should change it to that only he could be pinned because it wasn't war. Samoa Joe just tried to mind his own business listening to yet another one of Alex Shelley's rants. Joe steered free of Shelley for a good bit of his rant but he couldn't escape it any longer when Shelley had to aim his next question at Joe. Shelley trust Joe but at the same time he knew that anything was possible and he just wanted to make sure that they were on the same terms as he would ask Samoa Joe what his mission tonight. Joe would speak up to say that Shelley had nothing to worry about because he knew what he was here to do. He promised that at the end of the night that Shelley would still be the world champion as he then tried to convince Shelley to calm down because tonight's match was a one in a million... a guaranteed win.

While Carlito and Shinsuke Nakamura stood in separate corners, Samoa Joe and the champion Alex Shelley stood together. The referee showed off the prize before calling for the bell as Alex Shelley would target Carlito leaving Samoa Joe to go into a brawl with Shinsuke Nakamura. On one side of the ring, Carlito had his hands full with the champion. Carlito was able to take Alex Shelley out of the ring with a clothesline as Carlito looked to target Samoa Joe. Shinsuke and Carlito both knew that the only way that they stood a chance of winning the championship that was taking out Samoa Joe but that was no easy task. Shinsuke Nakamura had his hands full with Joe as he looked to back Joe off with a series of kicks whenever Carlito came to help. the two looked for a irish whip as Joe came back with a double clothesline taking down both men! Samoa Joe looked pissed as he looked out at the crowd that booed him. Joe looked to be unstoppable as he jerked Carlito to his feet before shouting at him and jerking him into a samoan drop! Carlito looked to be flattened as Joe looked to turn his attention whenever he was caught out of nowhere with the Bomaye kick! The crowd erupted in cheers as Shinsuke looked to shock with the win as Samoa Joe was able to kick out at two! Even if he hadn't, Alex Shelley had leaped into the ring to save the match as now Shinsuke Nakamura turned his attention to the champion with a crazed look in his eyes. Shinsuke slowly stalked after Shelley who would feel himself being backed into the corner and would look to run. Shelley ducked out of the ring as he ran with Shinsuke right on his tail right into a clothesline by Carlito! Shelley was flattened as Carlito shrugged his shoulders before entering the ring. In the ring, Carlito would convince Shinsuke to work together again to get rid of Samoa Joe only to hit the Backstabber on Nakamura as he began to walk forward! Carlito's fans went wild as Carlito looked to take the victory but Samoa Joe was having none of that jerking Carlito off Shinsuke. Joe was able to run and nail Carlito with a knee to the side of the face sending him out of the ring. Joe was on a rampage as he turned to see Shinsuke Nakamura standing in the opposite corner with a big grin on his face as he would do his signature taunt telling Joe to bring it on. This was an absolute war and the crowd were showing their appreciation with "This Is Awesome!" chants throughout the crowd. It looked to be down to two as these two titans would clash with Shinsuke Nakamura looking to have gained momentum and be closing in on the SPW World Championship! Joe was down and struggling to his feet while Shinsuke was positioned for the Bomaye kick! Shinsuke went running full speed right into a massive superkick by Alex Shelley out of nowhere! Shinsuke Nakamura went flat back as Alex Shelley went for the pin. Shinsuke Nakamura was somehow able to kick out at two as the crowd popped at the sight of hope. Shinsuke had fight left but Samoa Joe was about to crush that as he would pick up Shinsuke and plant him with the Muscle Buster! The crowd were in a rampage of boos as Alex Shelley would go for the pin after Joe put on the finishing touches. The referee made the pin as Joe made sure Carlito stayed out of the ring so Shelley could successfully retain. Justin Roberts: "Here is your winner of the this match and STILL SPW World Champion... Alex Shelley!"
The crowd were booing like crazy but there was nothing that they could do to stop this celebration. This match showed for certain that Samoa Joe was one hundred percent behind Alex Shelley never even glancing at the title as Shelley would brag as if he did all of the work. Samoa Joe would clap for Shelley who went to the top rope as Jim Ross closed the show talking about how much of a shame it was to not have a fighting champion.
