1992 | The Second Half
Main Event Scene (June – December 1992) Bret Hart and Davey Boy Smith, brother-in-laws that might as well be brothers; these two men showed the entire world what wrestling is really about when they main evented SummerSlam and put on a 5-star classic bout that saw Smith retain the WWF Championship. Bret demanded a rematch but WWF President Jack Tunney stated that Bret was only guaranteed one shot and one shot only for winning the King of the Ring. Following this, Tunney announced a battle royal to determine a new #1 contender for the championship. The battle royal was won by Ultimate Warrior.
Warrior and Smith had a series of encounters on WWF programming which culminated in Smith defeating Warrior to retain the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. Warrior wasn’t done however and defeated Smith three nights later on November 28, 1992 at a live event in London, England to become the WWF Champion!
Following Warrior’s title win, he put out an open challenge to anyone for the championship which was accepted by Mr. Perfect! The two had a great match that was interrupted by Davey Boy Smith who ruined the match. Jack Tunney scheduled a triple threat match at the Royal Rumble.
Mid-Card Scene (June – December 1992) Owen Hart and Shawn Michaels had an absolutely fantastic match at SummerSlam on August 31, 1992 which saw Michaels come out on top to become the brand new Intercontinental Champion. Michaels would reign as champion for much of the fall and became embroiled in a heated feud with the returning Dynamite Kid. The two would have a series of fantastic matches that led to a triple threat between Owen, Michaels and Dynamite which saw Dynamite Kid become the new Intercontinental Champion at Survivor Series on November 25, 1992.
Tag Team Scene (June – December 1992) The Road Warriors continued their lengthy reign as World Tag Team Champions throughout the remainder of 1992, although, they did face quite stiff competition from Demolition as well as The Young Stallions. The tag team division just wasn’t quite what it used to be just a few years ago.

Thoughts on Chapter: - Bret didn't win it?!?! - The Ultimate Warrior prevails on my sister's birthday, 17 years before she would be born!! You must love November 28th, LOL - I truly expect Mr. Perfect to come away on top at the Royal Rumble, I really do... Warrior would be fine too, but I want to predict the upset (if you can say choosing Perfection is an "upset") - Shawn Michaels as Intercontinental Champion... AHhhh.. - I honestly would've preferred Owen Hart to regain the title in that triple threat, especially pinning Dynamite and sparking something again between Owen and HBK, but we'll see how Dynamite Kid does as champ. - Road Warriors need some competition, probably after WrestleMania, would be a good time to bring it in... Shouldn't have let the Rockers fade away

1993 | The First Half
Main Event Scene (January – June 1993) The year started off with a bang in the main event scene as a fantastic triple threat match between Ultimate Warrior, Mr. Perfect and Davey Boy Smith occurred which saw Mr. Perfect come out on top on January 24, 1993 to become the new WWF Champion! Perfect would go on to claim that he is the greatest champion in all of WWF history and that there is absolutely nobody that can take away the championship from him. This led to the debut of Sting who won the Royal Rumble match. At WrestleMania, Mr. Perfect would get the victory over Sting after cheating to retain the WWF Championship.
Following WrestleMania, Sting would go on a rampage to get another shot at the championship and Jack Tunney booked a match between Sting and Mr. Perfect on the May 10, 1993 edition of Raw in a steel cage match which would see Sting come out victorious to become the new WWF Champion.
Owen Hart would win the annual King of the Ring tournament to secure himself a shot at Sting’s WWF Championship at SummerSlam.
Mid-Card Scene (January – June 1993) Dynamite Kid’s reign as champion was cut short on January 3, 1993 when he suffered an injury that forced him to vacate the title. Jack Tunney decided to hold a tournament featuring talent from all over the world and it was won by Japanese superstar Jushin Thunder Liger on April 4, 1993 at WrestleMania.
Liger’s reign didn’t last very long as just 8 short days later on April 12, 1993, Rick Martel would defeat Liger on Monday Night Raw to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Shortly thereafter, Scott Hall made his WWF debut and became embroiled in a feud with Martel over the title. Hall would fall short twice at winning the title and Martel stated that it was because he is the greatest champion of all time.
Meanwhile, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels became involved in a feud over who would be the new #1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship and it was Shawn Michaels that defeated Hart in a 15 minute Iron Man match on Monday Night Raw to earn a shot at SummerSlam!
Tag Team Scene (January – June 1993) The Road Warriors historic run as champions continued throughout early 1993 as they continued to dominate the lackluster tag team division which got even more lackluster as Demolition and The Bushwhackers left the WWF. Soon after the Royal Rumble, however, Rick and Scott Steiner made their WWF debut and shocked the world as they defeated The Road Warriors at WrestleMania to become the new World Tag Team Champions on April 4, 1993.
Following WrestleMania, Steve Austin and Brian Pillman, also known as The Hollywood Blondes, made their WWF debut by attacking The Young Stallions. Meanwhile, The Road Warriors defeated The Steiner Brothers on June 13, 1993 to regain the World Tag Team Championship.

Very happy to see Perfect become WWF Champion, but very surprised to see Sting come on and quickly win the title. Still glass to see Owen won KOTR and get a shot at the title. I don't think he'll win since that would mean two fairly short reigns in a row.
Seeing Liger come in and win, then quickly lose the IC title wasn't expected. Scott Hall debuting into the IC title picture is nice to see. Shawn and Bret is always a great match to see too, I wouldn't mind seeing either become the #1 contender.
Bringing on both The Steiners and Austin and Pillman will strengthen the tag division greatly from what it had become.

Thoughts on Chapter: - Mr. Perfect's on top again! - Oh wow, Sting.. I wonder how that effects the competition... And glad you had Sting wait past Mania before getting the belt, and making that rivalry between him and Hennig even better... Much better than I would have done, so bravo *claps* - I'm not sold on Owen Hart being the victor of the King of the Ring tournament, as he had his shots last year. Yes, I want to see him on top, but just didn't seem like the right time here. And I prefer if he were to get back in the title picture, he win a #1 contenders match or the Royal Rumble, and not go throughout the KOTR, as that is an opportunity to bring new people into the fray. - Jushin Thunder Liger, wow, did not expect that name to come up! Wish he had a longer reign than he did though, even if I'm not a fan of his. - Rick Martel... Yaaaaay... *deflation* - SCOTT HALL! YES! SCOTT HALL!!.... So I see you're not going with the Razor Ramon gimmick, which is unfortunate, but I'm thrilled you brought in Scott Hall!!!!! HEY YO! - Michaels and Hart rivalry seemed good, but a 15-minute Iron Man match?? I know the Raws may be short, but 15 minutes isn't long enough to get one good fall, let alone two or three. - The Road Warriors lost the belts to the Steiners?!?! What a historic run rush!! - The Hollywood Blondes are in WWE? Wow!!! I wonder how you fill this in the next few years... - Road Warriors are back on top! Why am I not surprised? ... Maybe it was Scott's attitude. - pun may or may not be intended. A LOT going on during that period! LOVED IT! Hopefully you finish the 6-month period out strong!!

1993 | The Second Half
Main Event Scene (June – December 1993) Owen Hart and Sting’s feud was a heated one with Owen stating that Sting is nothing but a face painted goon who is no good for nothing. Sting would silence Owen at SummerSlam where he defeated him to retain the WWF Championship but was subsequently assaulted by The Undertaker!
The Undertaker and Sting, otherwise known as the dream match of the century was scheduled by Jack Tunney for the November 24, 1993 Survivor Series pay-per-view which saw Sting come out on top to retain his championship! The feud didn’t end there, however, as The Undertaker assaulted Sting the next night on Raw and placed him in a casket leading to WWF President Jack Tunney booking a casket match for the title at the Royal Rumble!
Meanwhile, Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior became embroiled in a feud which saw both men each win a match until Survivor Series when the loser would be forced to retire. Ultimate Warrior would come out on top and Savage was forced to retire.
Mid-Card Scene (June – December 1993) On August 30, 1993 at the annual SummerSlam pay-per-view, Shawn Michaels defeated Rick Martel to become the new Intercontinental Champion. The next night on Raw during Michaels’ championship celebration he was brutally attacked by a force never seen in the WWF before…Vader! He staked his claim to a shot at the Intercontinental Championship and attacked Michaels week in and week out until Survivor Series on November 24, 1993 when he defeated him to become the new Intercontinental Champion!
Vader would close out the year as champion with little to no challengers.
Tag Team Scene (June – December 1993) The Road Warriors once again dominated the tag team division in the second half of 1993 but the team Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid, better known as The British Bulldogs, returned to action and defeated them at Survivor Series on November 24, 1993. They would hold the titles for the rest of the year, although they did lose them on December 1, 1993 at a live event but Jack Tunney reversed the decision and the title reign continued.

Wow, Warrior has now retired Hulk Hogan AND Randy Savage! I could see a new heel gimmick coming there... Perhaps he'd be a... Legend Killer...
Undertaker vs. Sting in 1993! That'd be a match to see! Glad its happening when they're both young too. A career long feud I'd like to see there.
Owen not winning the title was disappointing, but at least it led to Taker/Sting. Hope Owen gets another shot at being champ soon.
Vader debuting and quickly becoming IC Champion is cool, and beating Shawn Michaels to do it really cements him as a dominant IC Champ.
The British Bulldogs end the reign of terror of the Road Warriors. Nice to see them as tag champs.

1994 | The First Half
Main Event Scene (January – June 1994) The Undertaker and Sting’s feud continues into the Royal Rumble where The Undertaker defeats Sting in a casket match to become the new WWF Champion on January 22, 1994. Following his title victory, Undertaker is viciously attacked by the Intercontinental Champion Vader who physically destroys The Undertaker and forces him to vacate the WWF Championship the next night on Raw. Vader claims that he is now the top guy in the WWF!
Meanwhile, Scott Hall becomes the winner of the Royal Rumble match and following the match, WWF President Jack Tunney reveals the next night on Raw that due to The Undertaker being injured and forced to vacate the WWF Championship, Scott Hall will face off against the winner of that night’s battle royal which is subsequently won by Bret Hart and at WrestleMania on March 20, 1994, Bret Hart defeats Scott Hall to become the new WWF Champion!
Following WrestleMania, Bret Hart would go on to state that he is so happy that he can make his father Stu proud unlike his brother Owen. The debuting Yokozuna would win the King of the Ring tournament to earn a shot at Hart’s WWF title at SummerSlam but Owen would stake his claim only for Jack Tunney to book a triple threat match.
Mid-Card Scene (January – June 1994) Intercontinental Champion Vader would dominate the competition throughout the entire first half of 1994 and would defeat every person that stepped in his way. Paul Roma would eventually challenge Vader but would fall short a total of 3 times. Vader claimed that he wanted more competition and that’s when Ultimate Warrior attacked him. Warrior challenged him to a match at the King of the Ring event and Warrior was victorious by countout meaning that Vader would remain the champion.
Tag Team Scene (January – June 1994) The British Bulldogs reign as champions would not be a long one as on January 22, 1994 at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, The Road Warriors would once again become champions. They would hold the titles through the majority of the winter until losing them on April 17, 1994 to The Huffmans who would hold the titles for the remainder of the first half of the year.
Meanwhile, Paul Roma viciously attacked his Young Stallions tag team partner Jim Powers, effectively ending the team.
