Some big developments going down now... The Eagles, Jigsaw and Professor Berch, have put a few players on the trade block (per Ian Rapaport): CB Byron Maxwell LB Kiko Alonso RB Ryan Mathews RB DeMarco Murray Apparently, the Eagles are trying to include Alonso in a potential trade that would seen Byron Maxwell to the Miami Dolphins... Interesting to see how this develops. Maxwell I'm fine to see go. I'd like to keep Kiko, because he's someone that could play well in this defense. Ryan Mathews and DeMarco Murray, I'd like to keep both, but if they both leave, then we need to find another RB. Based off of last year, I'd keep Mathews, but overall, if we only get one, I want to see what DeMarco can do when he's used right.

It seems as if Pederson wants to rid most of the assets acquired by Chip Kelly last season, but I don't see that exactly being the way to go... But who knows! I also hear that the Redskins were afraid the Eagles would try to sign Kirk Cousins, so maybe that's the only reason that Sam Bradford is remaining in Philly, is because they couldn't get Cousins away this soon.

Id rather keep Mathews though.

I wouldn't doubt we wanted Cousins, but I feel like he's the product of that offense specifically. Pederson isn't in control of personnel, Howie Roseman is. Roseman can negotiate contracts, but overall is a dumbass. If we get rid of a lot of players Chip brought in, the same thing that happened last year will happen again. Lack of chemistry leading to poor play. If Kiko and Maxwell both go to Miami, along with a future pick, we can possibly get a second round pick for this year, which would be huge.

So I'm following the free agency day, obviously, and the NFC East champion Redskins have let go of a LOT of people: QB Robert Griffin III DL Jason Hatcher DL Terrance Knighton (signed one year deal last year, won't re-sign) S Dashon Goldson S Jeron Johnson
I wonder what Washington's doing, seems as if they're clearing up the cap space to make a big splash, yet again, this offseason.

Well, that trade is official. Unfortunately, we don't know what draft picks we got. So...

Well, that trade is official. Unfortunately, we don't know what draft picks we got. So... Pretty shocked that you essentially gave up LeSean McCoy, Kiko Alonso, and Byron Maxwell for "undisclosed draft picks". Miami, however, continues to rack up in the offseason, but they can never click with these talents. If they haven't fixed how their organization and the team is run, they're likely to finish around the .500 mark... again.

According to overthecap.com and NFL Network, here are the teams with the most cap space available as of Monday:
1. Jaguars ($82.2M) 2. 49ers ($62.3M) 3. Raiders ($60.0M) 4. Buccaneers ($57.4M) 5. Giants ($56.6M) 6. Browns ($50.1M) 7. Titans ($49.6M) 8. Bears ($46.6M) 9. Rams ($44.6M) 10. Texans ($41.6M)
Who do you think is poised for the biggest splash in the offseason of these 10 teams?

The Jaguars kinda have to be ready for a huge free agency. The offense is fine for the most part, but they have a lot of spending money to throw around for the defense, and I expect them to get some big players. An overhaul of their defense is in store for the next few weeks.

An overhaul of their defense is in store for the next few weeks. It has to begin with them getting Bruce Irvin and a premier cornerback. Plus, Jacksonville hasn't been in the mix for the AFC South crown in a really long time, but if the free agents can be convinced they can win a weak AFC South in the next year or two, they should be willing to come at the right price. I honestly feel, however, that Tampa Bay will be a destination players want to go to. For whatever reason, that just seems like that'll be a team making big noise with free agency.

There's a report/rumor going around that the Miami Dolphins will release CB Brent Grimes after failing to convince Grimes to take a pay cut.
So this is likely why they chose to get a deal done to bring Maxwell in.

The Texans are a contender to sign Brock Osweiler...
And with the tampering period having started, its a possibility...
The Broncos may be fucked for next season.

Titans have their running back...
DeMarco Murray is now a Tennessee Titan.
