Midwest Regional #8 Texas Tech vs. #9 Butler
The first half was somewhat of a blowout for Texas Tech as they pulled away early and easily but Butler fought their way back into it and the half ended with a 40-37 lead for Texas Tech.
The second half was completely different as Texas Tech struggled mightily and Butler used this to their advantage and pulled away late for the 74-65 victory.

Midwest Regional #5 Purdue vs. #12 Arkansas-Little Rock
Arkansas-Little Rock looked to pull off a huge upset and kept Purdue from taking over the game and the first half ended with a 27-23 lead for Purdue.
The second half was relatively similar but Purdue did manage to snatch the game away late and come out with a 68-66 victory.

Midwest Regional #4 Iowa State vs. #13 Iona
Iowa State easily took control during the first half as Iona struggled to even get a free throw to sink and Iowa State came out of the half with a 37-20 lead.
The second half saw Iowa State continue to pile onto their lead and Iona continue their struggles as Iowa State claimed the 81-54 victory.

Midwest Regional #6 Seton Hall vs. #11 Gonzaga
Seton Hall looked like a championship ready basketball team in the first half and Gonzaga played extremely well also but Seton Hall came out of the half with a 39-30 lead.
The second half is when it all fell apart for Seton Hall as Gonzaga rallied to within a few points but Seton Hall managed to pull away and avoid the upset with the 71-68 victory.

Midwest Regional #3 Utah vs. #14 Fresno State
Fresno State stood no chance as Utah dominated the game from the opening tip off and they came out of the half with a huge 43-22 lead.
The second half was really extremely similar and Utah was able to come out of the game with an 86-63 victory.

Midwest Regional #7 Dayton vs. #10 Syracuse
Dayton and Syracuse played extremely well in the first half and were tied at an impressive 36-36 when the half came to a close.
The second half saw Syracuse pull ahead but Dayton made it clear that they weren't finished and sent the game to overtime tied at 73-73.
In overtime, Dayton tried the best they could but Syracuse hit a last second three pointer to score the 83-80 victory.

Midwest Regiona #2 Michigan State vs. #15 Middle Tennessee
The first half saw Michigan State make the case for why they should have been the #1 seed as they dominated Middle Tennessee and left the half with a 46-28 lead.
The second half was much of the same for Michigan State as they kept up the domination en route to an 84-69 victory.

South Regional #1 Kansas vs. #9 Connecticut
Kansas struggled and looked extremely weak in the first half of the game as Connecticut pretty much ran circles around them en route to a 39-24 half time lead.
The second half saw a surge by Kansas as Connecticut all but fell apart and the final few minutes were what legends are made of as both teams exchanged 3 pointers and the half ended with an 82-82 tie between the teams.
Overtime was once again a crazy affair that saw the teams exchange baskets and it came down to a last second buzzer beater by Connecticut to give them the 97-96 victory in one of the greatest games in tournament history.

South Regional #5 Maryland vs. #13 Hawaii
Hawaii continued the Cinderella run in the first half as Maryland wasn't ready for their explosive offense and the half ended with a 28-22 lead for Hawaii.
Maryland made somewhat of a comeback in the second half but Hawaii managed to fend off their late rally and came out with the 63-60 upset victory!

Woah, the season for the overall #1 seed in the tournament falls in the R32 by a point in overtime..... Oh wow... Kevin Ollie would remain undefeated in the NCAA Tournament, I love it.
