So this really isn't kayfabe... There was an improv moment during Chris Jericho and Neville's match on Monday Night Raw where Jericho had to be disqualified due to a leg injury by Neville, sliding under Jericho during this match, where his leg got caught beneath him.
Jericho apparently asked Neville if he was ok, and it was bad enough to convince the ref to call a DQ on Jericho.
And I'll obviously post something once I hear more, but WWE can't have another superstar go down at this time of year.

UPDATE
As noted, Neville suffered a broken ankle and broken shinbone on a baseball slide during Monday’s WWE RAW match against Chris Jericho.
Neville underwent more tests in Orlando at the WWE Performance Center on Monday and WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann reports that he will not need surgery. Neville is expected back in 2-3 months. Amann told WWE’s website:
“Neville had some repeat testing done in Orlando today which included X-Rays and a cat scan of his ankle. Upon further review, it has been determined that surgical repair of the ankle would not be necessary. Instead, he will be treated nonoperatively with a cast and crutches. The estimated return for this type of fracture is usually 2 to 3 months.”

The referee had NO idea what was going on and was legitimately angry at Jericho for shoving him.

The referee had NO idea what was going on and was legitimately angry at Jericho for shoving him. I heard that rumor going around but didn't know how accurate that was. I really feel the referee had some knowledge of the situation, at least aware Neville couldn't continue.
