He climbs into the ring and gets on the stick as he welcomes everyone to the first ever episode of Voltage. He says that tonight is going to be a historic night as the first ever ECWG Champion and ECWG Tag Team Champions will be crowned as well as the kickoff of the 6-man chase for the ECWG Immortal Championship! The crowd roars their approval as Bischoff continues by saying that tonight’s main event will feature a battle royal featuring every member of the roster competing to become the first ever champion! The crowd shows their approval with this and Bischoff continues on by saying that along with this, every tag team in the company will face off in a battle royal which is starting right now! The crowd cheers as The New Day makes their way down to the ring. Battle Royal for the ECWG Tag Team Championship The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. The Kingdom (Michael Bennett & Matt Taven) vs. The Filth and The Fury (Teddy Hart & Matt Cross) vs. Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows vs. That 70s Team (Joey Ryan & Disco Machine) vs. The BroMans (Jessie Godderz & Robbie E)As soon as the bell rings, the entire match breaks down into a brawl for tag team supremacy with Disco Machine quickly being tossed by Karl Anderson thus eliminating That 70s Team from the bout. The brawl continues with all of the teams jockeying for positon with no team really getting the upper hand until Big E manages to toss Matt Cross out of the ring to eliminate The Filth and The Fury. Jessie Godderz attempts to eliminate Big E but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods quickly toss him eliminating The BroMans. The remaining three teams have a stare down before the brawl begins again which culminates with Doc Gallows managing to clothesline Xavier Woods over the top and down to the floor thus eliminating The New Day! As Doc Gallows stares down at Woods, Michael Bennett takes advantage and eliminates him from behind! Here are your winners and NEWWWWWWWWW ECWG TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, MICHAEL BENNETT AND MATT TAVEN, THE KINGDOM!Bennett and Taven are handed the tag team championship belts by the referee and they hold them high in the air celebrating their huge victory. He asks Cena about tonight’s battle royal for the ECWG Championship and Cena makes it clear that he is going to do everything in his power to win that match tonight because he never gives up. Back in the arena, Ryan Nemeth makes his way to the ring to absolutely no reaction and he climbs in and demands a microphone which he is given. Singles Match Ryan Nemeth vs. Sheik Abdul BashirPretty much a squash and showcase match for Nemeth but Bashir did manage to get some offense in but in the end it was Nemeth managed to hit him with Hot N Bothered for the pinfall victory. Here is your winner…RYAN NEMETH!As Nemeth celebrates, we cut to a video package that is extremely dark and shows the back of a man’s head as he mutters the words: “Darkness is coming” and “The end is nigh” before fading to letters that say: “2 weeks” which begin dripping with blood before we cut back to the arena where Jim Ross and Shawn Michaels speculate as to who it could be. This match is somewhat of a spot fest as Rockstar Spud and Apollo Crews have some great spots including a suicide dive over the top rope by Spud taking everyone down. The ending comes when Tommaso Ciampa hit Rockstar Spud with Project Ciampa to get the pinfall. Here is your winner…TOMASSO CIAMPA!Jim Ross and Shawn Michaels say that Rockstar Spud has been officially eliminated from the Championship Chase and that next week the remaining five men will compete in round 2 of the Chase but before that, up next is the battle royal for the ECWG Championship! Battle Royal for the ECWG ChampionshipThe match is an absolute cluster-fuck of 30 men trying to eliminate one another and eventually we are whittled down to the final 4 which are John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and Big Show. The men stare one another down before brawling with Lashley eliminating Lesnar but also eliminating himself causing the two to brawl to the back. Show and Cena both try to muscle one another over the top rope and Cena manages to hit the Attitude Adjustment to send Show flying to the floor outside eliminating him! Here is your winner and NEWWWWWWWWWW ECWG CHAMPION…JOHNNNNNN CENAAAAAA!Cena falls to the mat as the referee hands him the ECWG Championship belt and he stands up and holds it high in the air when…
OH MY GOD! IT CAN’T BE! The crowd unleashes massive heat as Jeff Jarrett, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and Yujiro Takahashi walk out onto the ramp, all clad in Bullet Club t-shirts. Cena is flabbergasted and doesn’t know what to think as the four men surround the ring before entering and beating Cena until he is a bloody mess. Jeff Jarrett grabs the ECWG Championship belt off the mat and holds it up screaming “BULLET CLUB FOR LIFE!” as the show fades off air.

ECWG Voltage! – January 9, 2017 “Never Back Down”
The show begins with “My Time is Now” blaring over the PA system as the ECWG Champion John Cena walks down to the ring with the title around his waist and a bandage on his forehead. He climbs into the ring and is handed a microphone where he proceeds to cut a promo on how the Bullet Club assaulted him last week and how they are simply a bunch of cowards that don’t have any respect for anyone. “Shot ‘Em” hits over the PA system and the crowd erupts in boos as Jeff Jarrett, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and Yujiro Takahashi walk out on the ramp in their Bullet Club gear with Jarrett holding a microphone in hand. He talks about how over the years, Cena has played to the kids and that he is sick and tired of it. He continues on by saying that he wants the ECWG Championship and that he will do anything to get it. Cena tells Jarrett that he never backs down from a fight and that he can’t wait to beat Jarrett’s ass at the SuperShow. Bullet Club surrounds the ring but before they can attack General Manager Eric Bischoff pops up on the titantron and says that if any of them touch Cena before tonight’s main event their contacts will be terminated. He continues by letting them know that Cena will be finding a tag team partner to take on Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows in a tag team match later tonight…with Jarrett and Takahashi barred from ringside! Cena is very pleased with this as Jarrett looks pissed.
Singles Match Big Show vs. Disco Machine w/Joey Ryan Absolute squash for the Big Show who gets the pinfall after hitting the Knockout Punch. Here is your winner…BIG SHOW!
Once the competitors vacate the ring, “Unstoppable” hits and the crowd roars to life as Bobby Lashley makes his way down to the ring where he is handed a microphone and he cuts a promo about his life in and outside the ring and discusses his mixed martial arts career before calling out Brock Lesnar who he says would make one hell of an opponent. “Next Big Thing” hits and the crowd roars as Brock Lesnar makes his way down the ramp to the ring and stands face to face with Lashley. They have a brief stare down before Lesnar throws the first punch and the two begin brawling with rights and lefts until security rushes out to break it up.
We cut to our backstage correspondent, Kyle Edwards who is standing by with Jay Lethal. He asks Lethal about the 6-man Championship Chase and Lethal says that last week was a crazy match and this week he is ready to go out there and put on another hell of a show en route to the Immortal Championship!
Tag Team Match The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) vs. The BroMans (Jessie Godderz & Robbie E) An extremely solid tag team bout between two good teams saw both get their fair share of offense but The New Day used their numbers to their advantage and Big E hit Robbie E with the Big Ending for the pinfall to get the victory. Here are your winners…THE NEW DAY!
After the match, The New Day cuts a promo about how The Kingdom is booty and that they will be losing their ECWG Tag Team Championships in a matter of a few weeks. The Kingdom comes out and tell The New Day that they are a superior breed of wrestler and that they will be the tag champions for a long time to come.
Round 2 of the Championship Chase for the ECWG Immortal Championship Adam Cole vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal vs. Apollo Crews vs. Sonjay Dutt The five men remaining in the Chase put on another hell of a show with some highflying spots from all of the men. They all jockey to get the upperhand in the match and the ending comes when Jay Lethal eats the Florida Key from Adam Cole for the pinfall to eliminate him from the Chase. Here is your winner…ADAM COLE!
Jim Ross and Shawn Michaels remind us that Jay Lethal has now been eliminated from the Championship Chase and that it continues next week! We cut to the same video promo from last week about the end being nigh and it ends by saying…NEXT WEEK!
John Cena proceeds to make his way out to a huge ovation and he has the championship slung over his shoulder and he gets on the stick and cuts a promo saying that he found the greatest tag team partner known to man and introduces…STING! The crowd goes bonkers as Sting comes to the ring.
Tag Team Match John Cena & Sting vs. Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows Anderson and Gallows put up a hell of a fight against two legends of the business but Cena and Sting just use their in ring prowess to fight Anderson and Gallows off and the ending comes when Cena has Gallows up for the Attitude Adjustment but Anderson whacks him in the back with a steel chair to cause the disqualification. Here are your winners…JOHN CENA AND STING!
Jeff Jarrett and Yujiro Takahashi come down and the assault begins as Cena and Sting are soon bloodied and lying in the center of the ring beside one another. Jarrett grabs the ECWG belt from ringside and holds it up screaming “BULLET CLUB FOR LIFE!” as the show fades out the same way it did last week.

Cena and Sting teaming up for one time only is a lifelong dream for any wrestling fan... More looking forward to a Cena versus Jarrett match for the title, which seems likely to what you're building towards. Cole/Ciampa/Crews/Dutt?? My bet is Crews becomes the first ECWG Immortal Champion but you did such an incredible job drafting that your mid-card area is stacked and any of these guys would be legitimate champions. The only thing I don't get is The Kingdom winning the belts out of all those teams, but hopefully The New Day can cut The Kingdom's reign short and make it a NEEEW DAAAY!! Yes, it will be! Because? NEW DAY ROCKS, NEW DAY ROCKS, NEW DAY ROCKS! hahaha enjoying this so far, and most of all, I'm glad you're back in the booking scene!
