Oh I love this idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So awesome So question... How'd you decide who to pick from each of the other teams? Is there any restrictions, is why I'm asking, because if not, I'd take all the great players on the teams and try to make it work lol

Is there any restrictions, is why I'm asking, because if not, I'd take all the great players on the teams and try to make it work lol The other teams are allowed to protect players from the draft (so like Chicago would protect Toews, Kane, etc.) so I kind of picked based on age and length of time with a team as well as some surprise picks like Evander Kane and Brent Burns.

I'm sorry, I've never lived through an expansion draft lol According to the 1999 Expansion Draft wikipedia: Each franchise was allowed to protect either one goaltender, five defensemen, and nine forwards or two goaltenders, three defensemen, and seven forwards. I've "lived" through three expansion drafts but alas I have no memory of them because I was either 2, 3 or 4 years old lol
