For decades, the Phoenix Suns have been either a lottery team or have been fringe contenders with players like Charles Barkley or Steve Nash up until a few seasons ago when they went from one of the worst teams in the Western Conference to almost making the playoffs. They've only declined since that surprising season but have a few interesting assets as they look to be rebuilt by their new GM who looks to finally take them to the next level.

RUMOR
As the new regime takes over in Phoenix, rumors are already circulating about roster moves before a game has even been played in the 2015 - 2016 NBA Season. With three potential starting guards in Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and rookie Devin Booker; the Suns have reportedly begun shopping either Eric Bledsoe or Brandon Knight. The feeling within the NBA is that either Bledsoe or Knight are as good as gone.

TRADE ALERT
As rumored before the season began, the Phoenix Suns have traded away their starting Point Guard, Eric Bledsoe. The Phoenix Suns trade Eric Bledsoe, Tyson Chandler, Alan Williams and their 2nd Round picks in the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 to the Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel, Isaiah Canaan, Robert Covington and the Miami Heat's 2016 1st Round Pick. This trade has not only fixed the Suns' starting PG situation but has freed up a lot of cap space as not only is Eric Bledsoe's 13.5 Million Dollar Salary off the books but so is Tyson Chandler's 13 Million. In exchange they get cheap young players that fit the scheme that Head Coach Earl Watson has been playing.

It's interesting you'd trade away Bledsoe and Chandler for basically Nerlens Noel and a first-round pick. Don't see much in Canaan or Covington, but could be wrong... But I guess the real deal was clearing cap space. Don't know who you could land in free agency, but we'll find out!
Can't wait to see what your roster and rotation looks like now after the trade.
