Featherweight Bout
Godofredo Pepey (12-3) vs. Clay Guida (32-17)
As the fight began, it looked as though it was going to be a good one but Pepey quickly hit Guida witha flying knee to knock him unconscious to claim the quick victory early in the first round.
Result: Godofredo Pepey (13-3) def. Clay Guida (32-18) via knockout (flying knee) at 1:04 of Round 1.
Welterweight Bout
Alberto Mina (12-0) vs. Adam McDonough (11-1)
The fight was a very exciting one between two men who have finished all of their fights but 1 which saw Mina come out as the aggressor very early on working McDonough with punches and body kicks and soon McDonough was cut and bleeding. The judges were firmly in Mina's favor after the first round. The second round as much different as McDonough secured a takedown early and Mina fought his way into control and managed to lock in an armbar and McDonough quickly submitted.
Result: Alberto Mina (13-0) def. Adam McDonough (11-2) via submission (armbar) at 3:06 of Round 2.
Lightweight Bout
Reza Medadi (14-4) vs. Stevie Ray (19-5)
The much younger Ray came out of his corner with a flurry of lefts and rights and one connected and absolutely destroyed Medadi a mere 20 seconds into the bout.
Result: Stevie Ray (20-5) def. Reza Medadi (14-5) via KO (punches) at 0:20 of Round 1.
Featherweight Bout
Bryce Mitchell (5-0) vs. Levan Makashvili (8-2)
Two young guys had an absolute slug fest during their bout with both men getting a fair amount of offensive through the first two round with the fight surprisingly not going to the ground. In the third round, the Mitchell secured a takedown and manages to get Makashvili's back before locking in a rear-naked choke. Makashvili struggles for a moment before tapping out to give Mitchell the victory.
Result: Bryce Mitchell (6-0) def. Levan Makashvili (8-3) via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:43 of Round 3.
Welterweight Bout
Phil Baroni (15-18) vs. Amir Sadollah (6-5)
The fight didn't wow the pants off of anyone as Baroni and Sadollah simply just slugged away at one another with Sadollah managing to lock in a guillotine at the end of round 1 for the submission.
Result: Amir Sadollah (7-5) def. Phil Baroni (15-19) via submission (guillotine) at 4:35 of Round 1.
Lightweight Championship Bout
Melvin Guillard (36-16-2) vs. Takanori Gomi (35-11)
Guillard and Gomi had an absolute knockdown, drag-out, brawl that went all 5 rounds which saw both men bloodied and battered and they left the result in the judges hands. In the end, the judges awarded the bout and the Lightweight Championship to Takanori Gomi.
Result: Takanori Gomi (36-11) def. Melvin Guillard (36-17-2) via split decision to win the Warrior Lightweight Championship.
Post-Fight Press Conference Highlights:
- Phil Baroni announced his retirement following his first round submission loss to Amir Sadollah.
