With the announcement of Last Son's pilot episode, Warner Bros announced that two other pilots will be filmed for HBO's DC Universe. All three pilot episodes will air after Beware The Bat for three consecutive weeks and if they get picked up for a full season will be determined by fan reaction and critical analysis. Only two of the pilots will be picked up for a full season while the other one will simply establish the character or group's existence in HBO's DC Universe.

Due to a change of direction in the DC Universe on HBO, some of the planned shows have been delayed to replace shows that will push the overall narrative of the DC Universe on HBO. The only shows that are possibly affected by this are Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, even Last Son could possibly be shortened. Rumors are circulating that they could be replaced with a new Flash show and some kind of team-up series.
