Two teams that have been around since the beginning of the NBA, that have faced off in the Finals twelve times, they have won 33 of the 69 NBA Championships. They are both in down years in comparison to their past but this is only the beginning of the next chapter in the greatest sports rivalry of all-time... Los Angeles Lakers vs Boston Celtics.

YEEEEEEEEEESSS!!! Basketball is so much better when these two teams are great. Personally, will be rooting for the Celtics to overcome the Lakers in their meetings, but this is a splendid idea for a booker, Dean! I'll definitely be following this one!!

Beginning of the 2015-2016 NBA Season
It's the beginning of the 2015-2016 NBA Season as the Lakers and Celtics open up their seasons on the same night. Lakers started the season with a 108 - 104 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite the L, there bright spots as it featured the return of PF Julius Randle who had 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, a steal and a block on 4 - 7 shooting. It was also the debut of the number two pick in the 2015 draft, D'Angelo Russell who had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, a block and a turnover on 7 - 14 shooting from the field. Kobe Bryant struggled with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 4 turnovers on 4 - 10 shooting. The Boston Celtics, on the other hand had an easy win against the Philadelphia 76ers as they won 108 - 96. Isaiah Thomas led the way with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and a steal on 7 - 14 shooting from the field which included three treys. Jae Crowder had a good game with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and turnover on 4 - 6 shooting.

I'm going to reboot this and find a new format for this. The first season will probably be a bit more rushed so I can catch up with the current NBA.
