I've heard Miami is also in the running... But then again, I'm sure there's more than 7-8 teams who want Durant's services. The team perhaps least likely, I'd say, are the Wizards, considering KD probably doesn't want to go back home, for obvious reasons. Then I'd probably say that it's most likely that Durant signs a 2-year deal with the Thunder, with an opt-out choice after the 2016-17 season, much like LeBron has done... This will let him see if OKC are the real deal and can take the next step after their WCF exit, and it'll also get Durant more cash. Durant's agent has allegedly already reached out to the Boston Celtics and gave them a list of players KD would want to play with. It scares me how possible it is that Kevin Durant could be a Celtic. Trust me, if Durant becomes a Celtic, that pushes Boston to either the 1st or 2nd-best team in the East. It'd be interesting to see where LeBron James ends up, and if he stays in Cleveland or the East. But seriously, if Durant signs in the East, whoever that team is suddenly reaches top 2 or 3 in the conference and make LeBron's automatic NBA Finals bids a thing of the past.

I know that Durant signing with Boston would push them to the top and that's exactly why I wouldn't want him there. I hate the Celtics with a fiery passion as I bleed the purple and gold. I don't neccessarily want him in LA, sure I'd take him but I'd prefer to take it slow with the Lakers rebuild with our young pieces then try to speed things up like we did with Dwight and Nash.

Raptors signed coach Dwayne Casey to a 3-year extension... Awesome! Well deserved!

It's getting annoying hearing any name someone recognizes will get the "max" this summer. Does anyone really think Jeremy Lin, Bismack Biyombo, Nicolas Batum, and all these other guys will be paid the highest of highs??
That answer should be a no... So please say no.

Typical pre-draft rumors. D'Angelo is a Laker and will be one for years to come.

Both Dirk Nowitzki and Dwight Howard have opted out of their contracts for next season.
I see Howard gone, but Nowitzki could probably stay in Dallas for less money to try and attract a big-time player... Can't imagine seeing Nowitzki in another team's uniform!!

Lakers just introduced Luke Walton as the new Head Coach. I'm sensing a shift of luck for Lakers with the head coaching hire, getting the number 2 pick and the guy whose going to be there at 2.

That rumor is exactly what I thought it was. If there was any truth to it it was probably other teams trying to entice the Lakers to give up D'Angelo in a proposed trade. With a core of DLo, Clarkson, I gram and Randle; there is no way you can try to break up a team with that much potential.

If he didn't have a championship, I think he would, but I'm just not convinced. I'm about 85% sure that Nowitzki isn't donning another team's uni next season. But we'll see! I've been wrong before.

Two big trades have shaken up the Eastern Conference! Derrick Rose, Justin Holoday and a 2017 2nd Round pick to the New York Knicks for Jose Calderon, Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant.

Also, George Hill is gone to Utah and Jeff Teague is gone to Indiana, while Atlanta gets Utah's 1st-rounder. Interesting!! But it was such a great trade by the Bulls, honestly. It's not flashy, but they get rid of the cap space and can finally move on from the Rose era. The Knicks only made this deal, I'm convinced, for merchandise sales. It was a move motivated by monetary gain, not in pursuit of building a championship contender.
