THE Jose Calderon!?!?!?!? Jk lmao You joke but it's actually a genius move by the Lakers. Jose Calderon is a good fit for the system and will be a good veteran leader. aaaaaaaaaaand to add on to it, he'll be able to mentor Marcelo Huertes and D'Angelo Russell. Plus, receiving two 2nd-rounders, which I'm guessing is next year?? If so, that's a deep draft and will have a better chance of getting a really nice player, even in the 2nd. I don't expect Calderon to see much playing time tbh, but yeah, he'll be a nice mentor and veteran on this team, at least in practice and keeping order in the locker room.

I don't know if Huertas will remain since he's only a few years younger than Calderon, is less experienced and is a much worse shooter.

Well, literally right after I posted this, I got a notification saying the Lakers have agreed to a 2 year deal with Marcelo Huertas.

While my laptop's been out of action (still is), I began a Lakers Association. Love playing with Huertas and Russell. Those are the only two lol

The same day Tim Duncan retires, Draymond Green gets arrested. This is historic.
