You gotta tell Alex Smith to throw the damn ball to Travis Kelce!

You gotta tell Alex Smith to throw the damn ball to Travis Kelce! Well, the thing is, Alex Smith has this weird infatuation with getting it to our RBs/other check down options. Travis Kelce will be fairly open and he'll still throw it to Jamaal or try to squeeze it into Maclin. Kelce is so good. We just need to get him involved more. I honestly hope we go 1-15 just so we can rebuild our offensive line again. That's our biggest issue. Then we're lacking depth at defensive back/receiver.

Doesn't look like he'll be throwing it much to Charles anymore this season. Sucks for you, but it may get Kelce more looks (which helps my fantasy team). Still, never good to see someone go down. Smith isn't really someone who likes to throw it downfield, so they need to get Maclin open probs over the middle.

But nah, it sucks that Charles went down, but I guess it could be a blessing in disguise. At this point, I'm prepared for the worst. We'll probably get a high draft pick now which we can use to strengthen our offensive line. Which we should've done in the second round this past year. John Dorsey has not had very good drafts so far in his tenure with the Chiefs. Our best first round pick since he arrived, despite him only being a rookie, is Marcus Peters tbh.

If things don't turn around draft-wise in the next couple years, we may need to do something about him. As much as I hated Pioli, he at least made some solid choices in the draft. Most notably Justin Houston.

And I didn't even think we played all that well against Houston the second half of that game. Honestly, I'm not banking on us finishing better than 7-9. And that's being a little generous. Which is really strange considering all the stars we have on this team. Smith, Maclin, Houston, DJ, Berry, and Peters are all very talented, but our offensive line can not match up against the pass rush and our other defensive backs are average at best.

I just can't wrap my head around the Chiefs losing the two home games man, to the Broncos and the Bears today. Like, Arrowhead is supposed to be a tough place to play, a noisy stadium. Stunned Chicago came away with it, but perhaps they don't if Charles stays in the game. But anyways, I honestly want a Chiefs fan's thoughts on Alex Smith. Because to me, I see him as why the team isn't better (personally).

But he will never be anything more. It's a shame too. But I guess he's better than Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel so I'm not complaining too much.

Do you believe the Cowboys should look into starting Matt Cassel over Brandon Weeden coming out of the bye week? I want to ask an outsider opinion. The Cowboys fans I'm surrounded by are mostly idiots.
