So... Tony Romo out AGAIN! With the SAME INJURY! At least Dallas has a reason for stinking this year... What's Philly's?? Lack of chemistry and shitty play from QB and receivers. Too many moves too fast. Bad reasons that go down to coaches and players rather than injuries, but there's more than just ONE reason. Once Romo retires, Dallas will be shit for years.

NFL MVP Candidates 1. Cam Newton Most people, even with the Patriots’ loss, will be assuming Tom Brady gets the #1 spot. But there’s a reason Cam is above Tom on this list. After the training camp loss of Kelvin Benjamin, most people wrote off the Panther’s season as lost before it began. And now, they sit at 11-0 and are the only undefeated team left. Carolina’s defense and running back Jonathan Stewart have been a huge help, but Cam has made the most out of the situation he was placed in with the loss of Benjamin. Despite the not-so-spectacular stats he’s posted this season, Cam has majorly improved this year compared to years past, and has led the Panthers, who no one thought had a chance, to an undefeated record. Cam has to be the NFL’s MVP, because most other QBs would have crumbled throwing the ball to Ted Ginn as their #1 WR.
2. Tom Brady The consensus MVP here. The Patriots are 10-1 with the loss to Denver, but Brady has to be credited for keeping the Pats undefeated as long as they were. The defense wasn’t so spectacular, and at the start of the year, his weapons consisted of Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Rob Gronkowski, LeGarrette Blount (after a 2 game suspension) and Dion Lewis. Now, at least for one week, he’ll be without all but Blount. After next week, Gronk should come back, but he’s still down Edelman, Amendola and Lewis for a while, with Edelman and Lewis done for the year. Brady, coming off of the Deflategate scandal, is putting up some of the best numbers of his career at age 38. 28 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions on the year is amazing, and considering his career-counterpart, Peyton Manning, is sitting on the bench nursing an injury, and may not see the field again in 2015, or ever, Brady’s looking better than ever.
3. Andy Dalton Dalton has been SO good this year, and SO important to the Bengals, that he’s got to go here. The Bengals have all the talent in the world, but if Dalton were playing like the Dalton we knew before this year, they wouldn’t be anywhere near the record they have. The defense is great, but not great enough to keep them in games with a subpar QB. With 3 dynamic receivers, 2 great runners and a breakout tight end around him, if Dalton played anything like he had before, he wouldn’t be a Bengal next year. Instead, he’s putting together an MVP campaign and has the Bengals looking like one of the best teams in the NFL, and himself looking like one of the best QBs in the NFL.
4. Adrian Peterson Peterson is the first non-QB MVP candidate here. The Vikings are leading the NFC North mostly because of him. Teddy Bridgewater is suffering from a sophomore slump, in a year he really should have broken out. Bridgewater looked great as a rookie, when he had a committee behind him, but the return of the best runner in the NFL has not helped him. Peterson is playing like he has something to prove, and he does. After a year off, he has proven that he is indeed still the best. Defenses have not been able to stop Peterson, and because of this, the Vikings are 8-3 and a game ahead of the Packers in the NFC North.
5. Devonta Freeman Possibly the biggest surprise of this season, Devonta Freeman has broken out at running back. The Falcons runner has been the reason they’ve been as good as they were. After not being able to win the starting job from Tevin Coleman in the preseason, Freeman took the ball and ran with it, literally, once Coleman went down. In Week 3, Freeman’s first start of the year, he took the workhorse job for himself. And since the, Coleman has only played in Freeman’s relief and during his injury. And since he’s taken the starting job, if Freeman has not run for 101 or more yards OR had 3 touchdowns, the Falcons have lost. If it weren’t for Devonta Freeman, the Falcons would be under .500 on the season.
6. Aaron Rodgers Rodgers is always an MVP candidate. This year, playing without Jordy Nelson and struggling on offense and defense, the Packers are STILL 7-4. Rodgers was playing great, and was behind only Tom Brady in consideration before the game against Denver, where Green Bay started their 3 game slump. After starting 6-0, the Packers have gone 1-4 since then, only beating the Vikings. Aaron Rodgers can still turn things around and get back into the top of this list, but the struggles have to stop.
7. Carson Palmer Palmer has had an amazing year for the Cardinals. For a team who’s top 3 playmakers are all at least 30, Palmer has led the Cardinals to a 9-2 record. Palmer has established chemistry with his entire receiving corps, the deepest in the league, and has helped bring the Cardinals to the top of the NFC West. A convincing win in Seattle majorly helps his case, as it is one of the most difficult stadiums to play in as the away team.
8. Josh Norman The first defensive player on the list, Norman has been almost as important to the Panthers this season as Cam Newton has. He is playing like a true shutdown corner, and is a major factor in the Panthers defense. As long as his play continues, he’ll place himself along the likes of Richard Sherman, Darrelle Revis, Patrick Peterson and Chris Harris. Without Norman, the Panthers are a losing team. Without Norman and Cam, I don’t see any way the Panthers have a win this season.
9. J.J. Watt Watt is somehow putting together a quiet season. He leads the NFL in sacks, and despite being one of the most high profile players in the NFL, and arguably the best player in the league, his name isn’t heard as much outside of Houston’s games. Despite the 6-5 record, the Texans are tied for first with the Colts in the AFC South. The Texans can enter the playoffs by winning the division, but the reason Watt isn’t being talked about as much is because of the Texans offense. If the offense could keep them in games, the Texans would be in a MUCH better position, BECAUSE of Watt.
10. Derek Carr The Raiders are a fun team to watch again! Carr is putting together a great season, and has the Raiders a game out of second in the AFC West. If the Broncos weren’t in this division, the Raiders would likely be in second place. Its not very likely for them to make the playoffs, but Carr is showing why HE should have been taken in the first round, and is making every team that passed on him regret it. Even if the Raiders don’t make the playoffs, Carr is putting together a season that makes him MVP worthy.
HONROABLE MENTIONS
Ben Roethlisberger Has been great when he’s played. Needs to stay on the field each week.
Kirk Cousins Putting together a great season, improving each week, leading the NFC East.
Todd Gurley The Rams have the record they due solely because of him. The defense is great, but Nick Foles has been the worst QB in the NFL. Without a runner like Gurley, the Rams have 0 wins.
Fletcher Cox Led the Eagles defense and kept them in games by either getting to the QB or opening holes for others to do so, as well as stopping the run well. The defense has fallen off since.
DeAndre Hopkins No matter who is at QB this year, Hopkins is the most consistent WR in the NFL. Yeah, I got bored...

Not bad Professor Berch, but I have to disagree. Personally, ranking Palmer below Rodgers and Dalton is not the direction I'd go in. I believe Palmer is up there at 3, trailing Brady1 and Newton2. Why did you rank Carson so low, if you don't mind me asking??

Why did you rank Carson so low, if you don't mind me asking?? I ranked him where I did because the MVP isn't based solely on stats. MVP is "Most Valuable Player," so the players most important to their team. Everyone ranked above Palmer is more important to their team than he is. Last year, when Palmer went down, they showed they can still play well with Drew Stanton at QB. Not as well, but well enough. I feel like, even though Palmer is putting together one of the best seasons in the league, the Cardinals would be in almost the same spot if they had Drew Stanton in at QB rather than Palmer. Anyone listed above Palmer is just way too valuable to their franchise, whereas Palmer isn't AS important. Still very important, but not as important as the others.

Depending on if I get bored enough again, I may do comeback player of the year and rookie of the year lists. ROTY will be offense and defense lumped into one if that happens.

(First, I was able to see the whole game) My apartment is more so school housing for a small school that doesn't have dorms. I have three roommates and go back home most weekends. Otherwise, it is pretty nice. And I'm online all day Sunday monitoring my fantasy team.

Personally wasn't all that impressed. Can't seem to get the idea out of my head that due to Brady's targets going down, that this game ended up differently than imagined. Having your own place sucks asshole...well paying rent does but doing whatever the fuck is awesome lol Well there's the balance in all that. You're your own boss at your own apartment, but you have to pay for stuff. Car payment, housing payment, groceries, gas, etc. ... I'm 17 years old, and thinking about what I want to do for college next year, so it helps I have some people who've been in that position, and know what worked/didn't for them.

I had my own apartment from May - October and it sucked but mainly because my roommate was a huge idiot
