Hearing the "game winning goal" in a 5-0 blowout is odd hahaha. So for me to follow this booker easier, can you explain the point system to me?

Hearing the "game winning goal" in a 5-0 blowout is odd hahaha. So for me to follow this booker easier, can you explain the point system to me? 3 points for a win, 1 point for a loss. Teams play 4 games (once again each member of the group) and the 4 teams with the most points from each group advance to the knockout stage. Also, where Denmark didn't score, when Canada scored to make it 1-0, that would have been the game winner, everything else was just gravy.
