Just realized that this is the 20th anniversary of the Bret/Shawn Iron Man match. Happened 8 months before I was born!

WWE has no other choice but to have The New Day retain at WrestleMania... Could you imagine a Raw-after with LON and Reigns as the reigning champions? Yikes!

The open of the show could only be so many things, like the IC Title Ladder Match, the US Title match or the Tag Title match. They started last year with the IC Title Ladder match, so they'll do that again this year, most likely. The main event really has to do with the booking of the show itself. Depending on who gets involved in either match, if anyone does, either could go on last, between the HIAC and the WWE Title match.

Compare this years Mania to last years Mania, feels weak.
Saying that, I'm hopeful some of the undercard bouts will be solid

BTW, good to see you on again! Very true my friend. It makes me wonder if this spate of injuries is a freak occurrence or if other measures need to be taken (particularly in the cases of Cesaro and Cena - who are injured by lifting too much) Good to be back brother!

I feel like if they were to go with the Brand Extension again, which they are apparently thinking about, and split the PPVs, then they won't have to be in the ring as much for PPVs.

It would take a load off the current roster. Less dates would certainly be beneficial and decrease the frequency of injuries at the least

I wouldn't ever compare it to last year's, or even WrestleMania 30 for that matter... Grant it, I can't remember having as many injuries as we do now, ever at this time of year... Just looking at some of the names who will miss out more than likely on an in-ring role: Seth Rollins John Cena Randy Orton Neville Luke Harper Bray Wyatt Cesaro Tyson Kidd Daniel Bryan, who has retired Sting These all could have been apart of a match in some capacity, yet we're stuck with seeing guys like Ryback, Zack Ryder, Sin Cara, etc... They even had to call guys like Sami Zayn and Shane McMahon to wrestle, and even put the title on Triple H for him to compete against Reigns. Not that I'm opposed to any of this, and I still feel that Zayn/Shane/Trips will make WrestleMania a little bit enjoyable, but I'd much rather see any of the men listed above competing in Dallas.

It speaks volumes that Zack Ryder has an integral match on PPV in over 3 years. Plus the injury list makes Vince's decision to keep Titus out even more baffling. They need all the bodies they can at the moment. At this rate, the Brooklyn Brawler will get a spot on the card haha

Titus had been on a roll until that night, and who knows, he could've been huge in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at least, maybe even a mid-card title match instead of Ryback or inserted into the ladder match. But yeah, I'd rather see this man than Brooklyn Brawler: Finlay and Hornswoggle can dress up and fill those roles in perfectly.

So, I haven't watched in a couple of weeks... didn't realize until today that WrestleMania was this Sunday.
REALLY goes to show how bad the product is nowadays.

I hear it lads, really, I do. The injury pile-up has been out of hand and it will fairly be credited to why it is such a weak Mania card. However, can the blame fall solely on injuries? No it most certainly cannot.
The WWE failed to create a world where anyone outside of Cena, Orton, Reigns, Lesnar and Rollins could be taken seriously as a marquee player. That's on them. Yes when 3/5 are unavailable it's going to dampen the card but my whole argument is there should be more than 5 big name players.
Even with the card they've gone with it could be so much better. So much better. Pull the trigger on Ambrose and have a Fatal-4 Way main event, at least then they could avoid the alignment mix-up going on with HHH/Reigns. Run with the Zayn/Owens feud from the Royal Rumble and you'd have a fucking epic IC match. Do hour-long packages on their history on the Network and really push it as the "Network Match". Watch the subs soar and watch an incredible feud come to a head at Mania. Y2J/Jericho again? Fuck that. Get them in a Triangle Ladder match/TLC/whatever against New Day and The Uso's or some shit like that. If you really need it, have Y2J turn heel on AJ post-mania RAW. If you're not doing this have AJ in a match against Kalisto for the US Championship or something. Jesus, I don't know.
Fuck this is a weak card.

I feel like doing a Fatal 4 Way for the Main Event does really take two of the marquee matches on the show and makes them one. Not really much sense in doing it for a Mania card, especially when the injuries pile up. It would have been better to see a different card, with things done differently, but still, merging two of the biggest matches on the show into one doesn't seem to make much sense. If things were booked better, that'd be great, and we'd have a good Mania card. I agree with the IC Title match, and that's exactly how I would have done it. AJ Styles and Chris Jericho's booking could have been done better. At the very least make this match their rubber match, not their fourth. Have Jericho turn heel after their first match on Raw, leading to the Fast Lane and Mania matches. Include the Dudleys and the Usos in the tag title match as a TLC Match, going back to the old days with the Dudleys. Make the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal a bigger deal, have Kalisto defend in some sort of non-Ladder multi-man match, or make the US Title the ladder match, and instead of a 3-way tag team TLC, some other gimmick match.
