I hear it lads, really, I do. The injury pile-up has been out of hand and it will fairly be credited to why it is such a weak Mania card. However, can the blame fall solely on injuries? No it most certainly cannot. The WWE failed to create a world where anyone outside of Cena, Orton, Reigns, Lesnar and Rollins could be taken seriously as a marquee player. That's on them. Yes when 3/5 are unavailable it's going to dampen the card but my whole argument is there should be more than 5 big name players. Even with the card they've gone with it could be so much better. So much better. Pull the trigger on Ambrose and have a Fatal-4 Way main event, at least then they could avoid the alignment mix-up going on with HHH/Reigns. Run with the Zayn/Owens feud from the Royal Rumble and you'd have a fucking epic IC match. Do hour-long packages on their history on the Network and really push it as the "Network Match". Watch the subs soar and watch an incredible feud come to a head at Mania. Y2J/Jericho again? Fuck that. Get them in a Triangle Ladder match/TLC/whatever against New Day and The Uso's or some shit like that. If you really need it, have Y2J turn heel on AJ post-mania RAW. If you're not doing this have AJ in a match against Kalisto for the US Championship or something. Jesus, I don't know. Fuck this is a weak card. I feel like doing a Fatal 4 Way for the Main Event does really take two of the marquee matches on the show and makes them one. Not really much sense in doing it for a Mania card, especially when the injuries pile up. It would have been better to see a different card, with things done differently, but still, merging two of the biggest matches on the show into one doesn't seem to make much sense. If things were booked better, that'd be great, and we'd have a good Mania card. I agree with the IC Title match, and that's exactly how I would have done it. AJ Styles and Chris Jericho's booking could have been done better. At the very least make this match their rubber match, not their fourth. Have Jericho turn heel after their first match on Raw, leading to the Fast Lane and Mania matches. Include the Dudleys and the Usos in the tag title match as a TLC Match, going back to the old days with the Dudleys. Make the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal a bigger deal, have Kalisto defend in some sort of non-Ladder multi-man match, or make the US Title the ladder match, and instead of a 3-way tag team TLC, some other gimmick match. I mean it depends how you look at it. Yes Ambrose/Lesnar is one of the only redeeming qualities about this year's Mania but HHH/Reigns is fucked, fucked, fucked. And that's the match with the World Championship on the line. We're facing ending Mania in one of two ways; a supposed to be heel Triple H retaining (and that leaves us with fucking HHH as World Champion in 2016) or a supposed to be face Roman winning the belt and being shit on. Look, don't get me wrong, Reigns/HHH is going to be hard-hitting and I'm sure it'll be enjoyable but they've booked themselves into a corner with this one. The only way they could've salvaged this is if they actually reversed alignments; had Triple H distance himself from The Authority and actually done a double-turn. I feel sacrificing Lesnar/Ambrose could save the shitstorm of an end that's brewing for the current Mania. You can have Lesnar walk out as champ, which is always money and people would eat it up or pull the trigger on Ambrose (which is what I'd be doing if we went a Fatal 4 Way route). Of course there's the compromise, which I wasn't even going to bring up, but screw it, here it goes. You could potentially have kept the two marquee matches, kept the alignments and been in a much, much better position. How? Put the freakin' strap on Ambrose at Roadblock. It's gutsy, it's ballsy and it's a risk. Things the WWE wouldn't consider. In one night, boom, the whole balance changes. You've got Reigns/HHH which most fans won't be offended by as it's a logical story (HHH/Reigns been going on ages if you look back and it's not a bad story) heck, people might get behind Reigns in a big way of the strap wasn't involved and these two were just brawling week in/week out. You've also got your new main event of Lesnar/Ambrose for the World Championship in a street fight or whatever they're calling it. Way better options ... in my opinion anyway.

The only problem I see with Ambrose/Lesnar as the Main Event is that WWE, even if they had him beat Triple H at Roadblock, would be a transitional champion for them, and Lesnar would likely win because WWE wants their guys as champion. Triple H is a transitional champion as well, but he's a big name transitional champion, a veteran, who was given the title to do the job to Roman Reigns and put him over. The booking is terrible, and the fans prefer HHH over Reigns, but that doesn't change that the booking here is tried and true. Maybe during the match they do a double turn, or have Reigns turn on Ambrose after the match as he comes down to celebrate. There really was no right way to book this, but them going with what they have is better imo to many alternatives.

Speaking of what Professor Berch and adamxl were speaking of... I actually began writing an article last night about how WWE could make sure WrestleMania isn't a total disaster, and gave a few ideas they should consider running with. I finished it up earlier, and was wondering if you two, or anyone else for that matter, wanted to read it?? theironjaw.wordpress.com/2016/03/28/saving-wrestlemania-32/

29 years ago today, Hulk Hogan slammed Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III.
In honor of this monumental moment immortalized, who is everyone's pick to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Also, what are your ideas moving forward to make it mean more than it has so far?

Also, what are your ideas moving forward to make it mean more than it has so far? I think it'll be Braun Strowman. I want it to be someone from NXT. In order for it to mean more, maybe let the winner get a shot at either the IC Title or the US Title on Raw the next night. Actually have them win it sometimes too.

Seems like a thousand things are changing this week for WrestleMania, but this one I like:
Triple H versus Roman Reigns will now be a "No Disqualification Match"... This is the obvious route to go, considering this has been one of the more violent buildups for any match this WrestleMania season. No-brainer.

I think Rollins is still rehabbing unfortunately ... And after his match earlier in the night, Ambrose might be too.
