I watched the show live along with 120 other crazy wrestling fans in a bar. First time I ever do that, my ears are almost bleeding from the noise.
There will be spoilers ahead:
- - - - - - - -
The kick off show was nice. Kalisto vs Ryback was good for what it was and I am sooo glad that Kalisto retained. Hopefully that's the last we've seen of Ryback in any title picture for a while. The Total Divas match was actually not as horrible as I thought it would be. Hey, at least it wasn't Eva Marie that got the win. The Yes Lock was a nice touch. The Usos vs The Dudleys was ridiculous. How many superkicks did the Dudleyz ate? I mean, aside from a Samoan drop and some punches, that's the only move that the Usos did in the entire match...multiple times. Following what happened after the match I can only assume that a Tables match is in order for the Extreme Rules PPV.
The opening match was Match of the Night in my humble opinion. These seven guys just destroyed their bodies for our entertainment. An awesome match and seriously, the only point of the night where 120 people were screaming like wild animals was when Ryder pushed Miz off the ladder and won the damn thing. EPIC! Kudos to all the participants for some really crazy and painful spots. I assume that Ryder won for the big upset of the night and his title reign might be short lived with either Owens winning back the belt or Baron Corbin getting a push to the mid-card level.
Y2J vs AJ Styles was very good. I think that the two performers have chemistry and they pulled off a great WM match up. Shocked to see Jericho get the win but he deserved it. I mean he's got like four total victories at WrestleMania or something? The score between the two is now 2-2 so I am sure there will be a final encounter to end the feud with AJ coming out on top.
The six man tag team match was pointless and the match wasn't anything special really. But after the match there was a huge mark out moment with the appearance of HBK, Foley and Austin so I will let this one slide and call it a very nice WM moment. Austin - almost - danced for the first time so now I can finally die happy.
The Street Fight could and should have gone better. They only used some kendo sticks, some chairs and that was it. I had high hopes for this one, perhaps one - or both - of the competitors could have tasted their own blood? I mean Lesnar was bleeding last year with Reigns and it wasn't even a Street Fight. I was expecting more crazy stuff from Ambrose but I guess there was only so much he could do with Mr. German Suplex. A solid effort by Ambrose but I had such high hopes for this one even though Ambrose was destined to lose.
I enjoyed the triple threat for the Women's Championship. Might as well be the best WrestleMania women's match in recent years. Charlotte, Becky and Sasha brought out their A game and all three should be proud for what they accomplished. The future is bright for the Women's Division. I hated the ending and I can't swallow the fact that Sasha - in her Eddie Guerrero gear - didn't won the match but oh well, I find comfort in the fact that sooner or later Flair's daughter will drop the title to Sasha just in time for Bayley to come and say hi.
Now...I never thought that this day would come but here, this is the last time I ever use that term: Diva(s)! Here, that's the last time I ever have to say or write this! Phew...Now I feel more human again!
The Hell in a Cell match was as good as it could have been. I almost fell asleep in the first ten minutes but when they got out of the Cell all the good stuff happened. Shane's fall from the Cell was a WrestleMania moment he deserved and Undertaker winning finally seals the coffin for this ridiculous storyline. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of Shane though. All in a all a decent HIAC Match if you consider the age of both men and the PG Rating. Can you imagine this match taking place 10 or 20 years ago?
So far so good, we had some ups and some downs but surely this wasn't another WrestleMania 27. Alas, the final hour came...
Rock's promo was nothing special, the interaction with the Wyatts was interesting at first but then the 6 seconds match ruined everyhing. John Cena's arrival sealed the coffin for the Wyatt Family and their long abandoned push. A shame really, I would have easily traded the Wyatts for the Social Outcasts in this segment and have Bray and the sheeps compete at the battle royal instead.
Which brings me to the third annual Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal. What a load of garbage. The "surprise" entrants were Tatanka that no one cares about, DDP that never even stood a chance and Shaq that isn't even a WWE Superstar? Yeah, Andre was looking down at us with a very disturbed look on his face. Had Kane won then I would still be dancing naked in my mom's basement but alas, the trophy goes to Baron Corbin - and not Samoa Joe - who officially makes the jump to the main roster. Hopefully, unlike the previous two years, this victory will actually mean something.
The main event was boring for the most part, it was predictable and...well, I really couldn't care less about it. On a bright side it wasn't as awful as HHH-Orton from WM 25. Also on the very few positives, Steph and her wicked voice got speared. Hey, Trips got the job done. He made Roman look strong. Mission accomplished. I can't believe I'm saying this but I am actually looking forward to see if HHH will get his rematch at Xtreme Rules, or if a new challenger will emerge. And if a new challenger is on the horizon then who is it going to be? What was that? Cesaro? Ambrose? Owens? No, no, no. It has to be Sheamus or the entire League of Nations to make Roman look strong!
Overall, it was better than I was expecting it to be. If you take the last 1 hour out of the way, the show was enjoyable. I'l' give it a 7/10 and it's nowhere near my top 5 - or even top 10 - WrestleMania's.

Very underwhelming show to be honest. Why fuck AJ's mania debut up? Jericho doesn't need that win at all. Also R.I.P Bray Wyatt. What a way to bury him.
My favorite match has to be the womens triple threat.

Just read this from someone on WC in regards to Mania and it really seems like the truth:
"This whole show just felt like Vince going "Fuck you" to the smark community and saying "I can put out shit and still take your money"."

My favorite match has to be the womens triple threat. Well, I wasn't expecting much out of this WrestleMania, but it disappointed in terms of Ambrose/Lesnar and Trips/Reigns, which I thought would've been played out better. I agree on Styles/Jericho, which was absolutely the worst thing possible. Between that and Ryder winning the ladder match, I was so upset. It just didn't go right at all... But I also agree with the women's triple threat being my favorite, and the best, match out there last night. If nothing else, WrestleMania 32 will be remembered for the new chapter in women's wrestling. BTW, I was totally fine with Bray Wyatt. He didn't have a match because he had a back injury leading up to WrestleMania, and a match against Brock Lesnar is inevitable anytime over the next few months. Bray was fine enough to take a spinebuster and had his moment with The Rock, who gave a shoutout to the Wyatt Family on social media afterwards. I didn't like Cena coming out, but Bray Wyatt coming out was fine... The Rock actually did his best to put Bray over, also talking about a hundred thousand people lighting up the stadium with their phones in support of Wyatt... Again, totally okay with it.

I don't know what pay-per-view you were watching but the entire Wyatt Family was BURIED by Cena and The Rock. Knowing the WWE though, he'll come out and cut a promo like nothing ever happened.

Shane did a great impression of the Raw ratings when he dropped off that cage

So I've calmed down since the Wyatt/Rock/Cena segment. So overall, I enjoyed WrestleMania. My favorite match was easily the Hell in a Cell or even the Womwn's Title match. Zack Ryder winning the IC Title was such a shock but so awesome at the same time.

Photo of the line going into the arena (some people waited 3-4 hours and many had medical emergencies). WWE is lucky nobody died or was trampled. Could have been Hillsborough all over again.
