"The Beginning of Brilliance"
So it happened. WWE's doors closed for good. Ring of Honor, TNA, New Japan and all down Mexico closed it's doors. The wrestling industry was on the brink of extinction. Thankfully. 6 New promotions were formed and one of which was a regional system called West Coast Wrestling Federation, Aneheim, California would be the home for WCWF's headquarters and William Regal struck a deal for the promotion to get a weekly slot performing inside the Anaheim Convention Center every Tuesday. Soon, it was revealed that the company would stream their shows exclusively to their website for fans to watch. The West Coast was on a mission to become one of the front runners in the wrestling industry, but it's a long road to the top as everyone involved with this little promotion was about to find out... Headquarters: Anaheim, California Promotion Size: Regional Venue: Anaheim Convention Centre Capacity: 7,500 Network/TV Deal - Website Exclusive Stream (Tuesdays)

WEST COAST WRESTLING FEDERATION PRESENTS
WRESTLEZONE I Tuesday 3rd January 2017
7,500 are in attendance tonight at the Anaheim Convention Center. There is a sense of excitement in the air. WCWF employee's had been out on the streets of Anaheim all week long handing out free tickets and free merchandise. The theme song finishes and the fans are on their feet cheering as William Regal stands in the center of the ring. Regal raises his microphone and welcomes everyone tonight. He acknowledges that the industry is in a slump period at the moment but he and his roster are going to do their part in restoring pride and respect, integrity and quality. Tonight is the beginning of brilliance. So now it's time for the action to get under way.
SINGLES MATCH CODY RHODES def. RHETT TITUS (12:14) In a solid back and forth bout Cody is able to put Titus away with a Cross Rhodes
Post Match, Cody is overjoyed with his big win the first bout but Rhett seems very disappointed with his loss of concentration. Following a few tense moments of anticipation, Rhett squares up to Cody but extends his hand. They shake and the fans applaud the solid bout to open the show
We go backstage and Jojo Offerman is stood with The Vaudevillians. Gotch and English flank her either side and when asked about their goals and aspirations in this new company, both men snub her. Aiden then snatches the microphone off her and tells her to leave, insisting they are capable of conducting the interview themselves. He remarks the spotlight won't initially be on them, but it soon will be. Gotch takes over and says that they won't shy away from getting down and dirty to climb the ladder of success.
TAG TEAM MATCH THE REVIVAL def. PRIME TIME PLAYERS (9:36) Titus gets the hot tag and begins to clean house but Dash Wilder begins to violently choke out Darren Young on the outside. As Titus turns to aid him, Scott Dawson rolls up Titus thanks to the distraction
The action continues after the bell and Titus is on fire. He knocks Dash right off of Darren and helps his partner to his feet. Scott Dawson is behind Titus and attempts to shove Titus straight in to Darren but Titus ducks under Darren allowing his partner to connect with a sweet clothesline, taking Dawson out. The Revival have to retreat quickly and despite their victory, it's the PTP standing tall at the end of this encounter
A promo is aired hyping an upcoming debut. A dark, creepy meadow in the dark of night as fog filtering through the air and across the floor. The wind is the only noise that can be hard listening. A silhouette of a man is seen in the distance slowly trudging towards the screen. As he gets closer it's still difficult to make out until in certain gaps between the fog, an all too familiar sheep mask is noticeable. As the lurching frame stands still in the midst of the meadow "The Lost Sheep" reads across the bottom of the screen
Up next, Baron Corbin is out and scheduled to face Ross Von Erich. Corbin grabs the stick telling the crowd that his opponents lineage doesn't guarantee success in this business. He adds that he is sick of second and third generations being automatically tipped for greatness without having to prove their worth. He feels they get everything handed to them. Corbin rips on the legendary Von Erich name before the bout begins
SINGLES MATCH BARON CORBIN def. ROSS VON ERICH (6:57) Ross is dominated for the entire match until finding a small flurry of momentum, only to fall to a brutal looking End of Days
Corbin doesn't seem content with his victory and looks to deliver a post match beat down. After a few moments, Cody Hall appears at the top of the ramp and is making heading to the ring. Rene Young and Corey Graves retrace Corbin's pre-match remarks regarding generational wrestlers. Hall stands toe to toe with Corbin and the fans are on the edge of their seat waiting to see these two giants do battle, only for Corbin to throw his hands away suggesting he is uninterested. He scores solid heat as he retreats as Hall stares a hole through him
Backstage, American Alpha are shown chatting with each other. As one of the hottest tag teams in the world, the fans explode when they see them. Gable tells Jordan about how excited he is for this new challenge they are about to face. Jordan agrees and suggests the two ask for a match as soon as next week to get building momentum towards a tag title match. The two agree confidently before pausing. They stare off camera and as it pans out, reveals Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, The Worlds Greatest Tag Team. The fans reach fever pitch as the idea of the two teams squaring off is teased. The promo ends with the two teams smirking at each other
SINGLES MATCH CURTIS AXEL def. RICH SWANN (16:41) A brilliant contest which was a joy to watch. Swann was incredibly impressive but fell just short when Axel hit him with his Hangman's Facebuster
Axel is handed a microphone and informs the live crowd that this was his beginning. He is on a course to prove that his time in WWE has a waste of his true abilities. He aims to show what he is truly capable of and the first stop on that road will be the WCWF Championship. Axel shows a new dynamic to his character, raising the bar
Jojo Offerman catches up with Ken Anderson. They talk briefly about his quarter final match with Kevin Owens next week. Ken insists that losing isn't an option. Ken thinks guys like Owen are a dime a dozen and won't be overshadowed by him. Interestingly, Drew Galloway joins them. Drew says that Ken must remember that if he makes it past Owens, this particular Scotsman will be waiting for him. Ken laughs it off shaking his head before leaving
As the show draws to a close, the crowd will now be in for a treat William Regal has asked Finn Balor to join him in the ring. Both men shake hands and the crowd show their appreciation, showering them with adulation for a few minutes. Finally, Regal reveals that in 6 weeks, there will be a special event. It will be the first of 6 events every year, all spaced two months apart. At each of these events, the finest talents will be showcased against one and other and with Finn being one of his prized assets, he sees an opportunity for Finn. As Regal says that, Kazuchika Okada's theme plays. The fans become extremely excited. Regal leaves the ring and Okada heads in to it. The two men stand toe to toe as this amazing match is teased to happen on American soil for the first time ever. Both men standing face to face closes the show

So... Okada and Balor... What's up with them being snubbed? Hope my first show answered your question! Oh yes it did, nice show!! I liked it, and now I see Okada versus Balor will be a co-main event to your first special, which is epic sauce. Can't wait for Hall versus Corbin, as that'll be awesome... Plus, I think it's pretty neat that the generational superstars Cody Rhodes and Curtis Axel advanced to the world title semis. It'd be cool, even if I'm not rooting for any of this to happen in terms of favorites, but if Baron Corbin could beat Cody Hall, and then Rhodes or Axel wins the tournament, while Baron Corbin challenges one of them for the world title.... But I'd really like Owens or Anderson to win it all, and then for Cody Hall to top Baron Corbin hahaha
