Yeah and 4 out of 5 of those names I don't think are even great picks to be the next HC of the Lakers and none of them are realistic. I swear if the Lakers do end up with Etorre Messina I think people will start wondering if I'm secretly Mitch Kupchak because I called D'Angelo Russell getting picked instead of Okafor and now I'm saying Ettore Messina while everyone else is screaming Luke Walton. Everyone else = Michael. Though D'Angelo Russell was a fantastic pick, Okafor still would've been good... But man, we'll look back on the 2015 NBA Draft and applaud it with KAT, Russell, Okafor, Porzingis, Johnson, Kaminsky, Winslow, and so many others who I feel will contribute like Montrezl Harrell, Myles Turner, and even a 2nd-round pick Josh Richardson is making his name known. But then on the other side, the 2016 Draft, I feel, will be one of the worst in recent memory. You aren't the only one that I've heard mention Luke Walton. He is the mainstream favorite for the Lakers coaching job but I want Messina to be captaining the Lakers for the foreseeable future. I might be on to sometjing considerimg they recieved permission to interview him today. There are other great role players coming from the 2015 draft class(no favoritism) in Larry Nance Jr and UCLA's own Norman Powell. I really hope Kevon Looney will get some playing time next season. Hopefully the Warriors trade him or something because I could see him becoming a nice stretch four off the bench for someone.

I don't think you realize how much I dislike the Golden State Warriors. I am watching former 'Laker fans' jump onto that bandwagon and walk around SoCal in their Steph Curry jerseys. Meanwhile, I watch a team that was essentially built by a former Laker great who also is responsible for the last 20 years of Laker basketball that included 5 championships and now he's gone on to denounce his Lakerdom in favor of the Golden State Warriors. I also kind of feel bad for the Cleveland fans, they've been through so much that I feel like they deserve just one championship. It'll be there only chance in a while considering LeBron can only go downhill from here. LeBron's beginning to decline physically, so he's on his way down like every great, and guys like Steph Curry will eventually regress. Perhaps the only way they can't is by steroids lol But I get what you're saying. I've seen the Panthers and Hornets suddenly become great, and the handful of Panther fans and the ONE Hornets fan I knew here in North Carolina has turned into sooooo many just in the last 6 months. Who knew there'd be actual bandwagon fans in their own area, but it's happened. I know one guy who has been a "LeBron/Cavs fan" who went to the Hornets/Heat game tonight and he's decked out in Charlotte Hornets gear... Think about that. (And this is the same guy who writes sports for the local newspaper) So yeah, North Carolina is THE bandwagon state, so I feel you there. Yeah, I'm nowhere near where the Warriors play but I'm seeing them everywhere. I thought the sudden Clipper fans were bad but oh my goodness, Warriors fans are the worst. Almost as bad as the douchey SoCal Heat bandwagoners a few years back. Th worsr part about the Warriors is that they have the potential staying power of the Spurs but with the loudness of the 90's Chicago Bulls.

There's a ton who has already flashed the potential of being 7-10 year guys in the NBA, and that's rare to see so many, considering we only see about 14-20 people at best actually get playing time in the NBA, let alone some quality minutes and make good use of that time. I just now looked the entire draft class of last year up; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_NBA_draftLook at just how many players have seen playing time. Though some of these guys have seen very little, perhaps in times of garbage, but it's more of guys who actually have a role on their team as a rookie, rather than being stuck in the D-League.

That'll be when Curry begins to die down and the game evolves a bit more as teams begin to process how to cover Curry and Thompson, which teams will eventually figure it out, just like the NFL figured out the read option. But problem is, barring injury, you'll definitely see a banner, or two, more raised in Oakland before that's over... But hey, look on the bright side, after Golden State's run, there will be a new bandwagon!

I can't belive I'm wishing for the return of Laker bandwagoners but it's worth it if the Lakers are back on top. I'm sure you know that considering your Heat fandom.

Honestly, Miami aren't going to have the bandwagon fans until LeBron and Curry are gone, so it'll be another 10 years before we get those bandwagons, but hopefully we win a few more titles before then, but we'd just be like the Mavericks winning, nobody really jumps on that bandwagon (or at least from NC). And tbh, I'm there with the Cowboys. Maybe it's because I've seen my Heat win and not my Cowboys, but I'm ready for the massive influx of Cowboys bandwagoners to return if it means getting Romo and Witten their first Super Bowls, and the franchise its 6th. I've already found my one true Dallas Cowboys fan to talk to, and I've already promised myself not to befriend another Cowboys fan when we get 4 games above .500 unless I complete a thorough and extensive background check. But if you're asking whether the bandwagons con is worth it, getting to see my team win a championship is everything. I loved seeing the Miami Heat win two, I loved seeing the Duke Blue Devils win two, and I loved following the Hickory Crawdads as they won their SAL Championship last summer. The bandwagons are annoying, but yeah, I'd take that, rather than my team being a laughing stock for 15-20 years.

The Lakers have been incompetent for about 3 or 4 seasons and I'm losing my mind. How do normal teams deal with this?

Well I've been alive for the disappointing Cowboys, who you feel have a shot each and every year, but fail you each and every time. My peaks come in the offseason, believing we made the right moves to contend, yet we just float around .500 enough to tease fans worldwide. I know the NFC East is tough, but it nags me knowing Dallas could be a playoff team if they kept it in 4th-gear all season. That's the closest I've been to a "laughing stock", but it could be a whole lot worse. Carolina, Cleveland, both terrible pro sports areas.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are ruled out for the rest of the playoffs... And soon enough, the entire Clippers squad will be too.

Hmm not sure how Ettore Messina will ne viewed by the Lakers' young core. Will they be able to relate to him or will we face another Byron sotuation but this time with a foreign coach? Maybe Luke Walton is the guy. I'm really trying to figure out who the best bet would be as if I'm in charge of it.

I feel the way young players would relate to anyone tied to Golden State, who has a popular 3-point shooting team, would receive Luke Walton well to begin with, if nothing else, just by being apart of the Warriors team. I hope that made sense because it's 4 am and my brain's dead after trying to write a mock draft.

Hawks eliminate Celtics in Game 6.
Let's just hope it's not the same story for Miami against the Hornets, although the last time the Heat were down 3-2 in a series, they won their most recent NBA Championship, thanks to Ray Allen's Game 6 shot.

Yeah and back then they had Ray Allen.... and LeBron James. But I love that the Celtics are out. I feel Atlanta poses a bigger threat to Cleveland than this Celtics team, but that series will only last 5 games, SIX at the very, very, very most. And for the record, the Heat have recovered quickly after losing both those players. Look, they've got Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson, Justise Winslow, Luol Deng, Hassan Whiteside... These guys can contribute, and some can even change the outcome of games. Unlike Cleveland, who were one of the NBA's worse teams without LeBron there. Warriors have given permission to the Lakers to interview Luke Walton. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke ... Coming soon to a Staples Center near you!
