I've worked ahead to Money in the Bank, and TEW threw me a bit of a curveball. Not a major one, but a small one.

SmackDown starts with the theme of Seth Rollins hitting, as he comes out to the ring, wearing his street clothes. Rollins starts by saying that before anyone asks, Roman Reigns is not in the building tonight. Rollins laughs, then says that he’s here! He gets booed, and continues to laugh, then he says Roman Reigns doesn’t care about the fans. He points out that Roman said so himself on Raw, that all he cares about is being “The Guy.” Rollins then says Reigns can be “The Guy” all he wants, saying that he is “The Man” in the WWE, and will take back what is rightfully his, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! Rollins says he is the best going in the WWE today, and says that he can’t wait to get his revenge on Reigns for the attack on Raw. He says he won Money in the Bank two years ago, and at this year’s event, he will be the Champion!
Baron Corbin vs. Mark Henry Baron Corbin made pretty easy work of Henry, quickly finishing him with an End of Days, despite Henry’s best attempts.
Renee Young is shown backstage, as she says her guests are The Club. Renee asks them who they think AJ Styles’ partner will be at Money in the Bank. Gallows says he they don’t know, and they don’t care. He says AJ Styles can find anyone he wants, if he can, and says that whoever teams with him, they will put them down. Anderson goes on to say that The Club is taking over the WWE, with or without AJ Styles by their side.
Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley are shown backstage, as Bubba says that Enzo and Cass got what they deserved on Raw, when they beat them down. Bubba says that Enzo and Cass are the prime example of spoiled brats who want everything to be handed to them. D-Von says at Money in the Bank, they will put Enzo and Cass in their place, and teach them a lesson straight out of the Attitude Era.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon come out onto the stage, ready for the seventh round of picks. Shane says that he is picking a group of 3 men that have struck fear into the hearts of the WWE Universe for years. He says that this group terrifies even him, and he says he willingly dropped 20 feet off the top of Hell in a Cell. He announces his pick to be The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman! Stephanie is surprised at the pick, admitting she wasn’t ready for Shane to pick three men, but says thats OK, because she knows exactly what she’ll do. She announces her picks to be Enzo Amore, Big Cass and Kalisto! All three men come out to pose for the fans, as Stephanie watches on.
#1 Contendership to the United States Championship Zack Ryder vs. Titus O’Neil Ryder and O’Neil had a good match to determine a #1 Contender for the US Title. Ryder was able to ride his wave of momentum to a win over O’Neil, after hitting a huge Rough Ryder.
Natalya is shown walking backstage, when Charlotte and Dana Brooke attack her! Charlotte and Brooke stomp Natalya into the ground, then Brooke picks Natalya up and holds her back. Charlotte taunts Natalya, and tells her she’ll never be the Women’s Champion. Charlotte would then slap Natalya, and Dana would finish off the attack with a samoan driver.
The camera cuts to the ring, which is set up for Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. Jericho makes his entrance, and says that tonight, his Highlight Reel is being dedicated to the Money in the Bank Ladder match. He says his guests on the show will be all of his opponents in the Money in the Bank ladder match, and before he can list them, Kevin Owens’ theme hits. Owens comes out and says that before anyone else can come out here, he wants to make one thing clear. Owens says that the Money in the Bank ladder match will be won by him, and he says he’ll go through anyone, even Jericho, to win it. Jericho goes to talk, but is again cut off, by Sami Zayn. Zayn comes out and tells Owens that the cockiness he’s showing is exactly why he won’t win Money in the Bank. Owens points out that he got onto Raw and SmackDown before Sami, and won the Intercontinental Championship before Sami, because of that cockiness. Dean Ambrose’s theme hits, and he comes out, and says that all he wants to say is that he should be hosting the Ambrose Asylum right now, but Chris had to complain and get it cancelled. Jericho says he’s a better host than Ambrose ever could have been. Ambrose says thats because Jericho is a bigger jackass than he is. Cesaro’s theme hits, and he comes out, saying that everyone in the ring is overlooking the fact that he is in the match, and that he is more motivated than anyone to win the match. Everyone else starts arguing, and Alberto Del Rio’s theme hits. Del Rio comes out and says he’s the only person in the match to ever even win the Money in the Bank match, and says he will do it again. Finally, The New Day’s theme hits, and all three men come out. Kofi says he’s been in more Money in the Bank matches than anyone else in the match, and says that experience will bring him to victory. Jericho says that Kofi’s also lost the most Money in the Bank matches, then says he didn’t even invite Xavier and Big E, and orders them to the back. The New Day laughs, as Xavier says when one is invited, they are all invited. Now, with everyone in the ring, a huge brawl suddenly starts. People are getting thrown from the ring, leaving only Chris Jericho in the ring at the end, as he laughs at everyone.
The Vaudevillians vs. The Usos The #1 Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship have trouble with The Usos. Jimmy and Jey give the Vaudevillians a handful, but Aiden English is able to get the win after a rollup to Jimmy.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon are shown backstage, talking. The Miz and Maryse come on screen, and Miz starts complaining about Dolph Ziggler. Shane cuts Miz off and tells him that first, he should have knocked before coming in. Shane then says that Miz was the one who cut Dolph off, then accepted his challenge, saying anything that happened to Miz is his own fault. Maryse tells off Shane in French, and Shane tells Miz that at Money in the Bank, he will have another match against Dolph Ziggler, and this time, the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line. Miz and Maryse both start to complain, but Shane again cuts them off, and orders them out of his and Steph’s office, before he strips Miz of the title. Miz and Maryse look angry, but leave. Stephanie says she’s impressed at how Shane handled that.
A video is shown, hyping the return of The Wyatt Family.
AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens Styles and Owens tear the house down for this match, putting on one of the best SmackDown matches in recent memory. In the end, Kevin Owens is able to defeat AJ Styles, after The Club interferes in the match, distracting AJ, and Owens is able to hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win.
The Vaudevillians are shown backstage, as they say that tonight, they showed why they will become the next WWE Tag Team Champions, by defeating former champions in The Usos. Aiden English says that The New Day has been put on notice, and says that they are going to show them just how much better the Bygone Era is than the New Era.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon come out onto the stage, as they announce their next round of picks. Shane says his next picks don’t agree with his views on The New Era, saying they would rather live in an era gone by. He announces his picks to be The Vaudevillians! Aiden English and Simon Gotch come out to pose for the fans, as Stephanie says its fitting that Shane would pick the Vaudevillians, because she says her picks are their opponents from earlier in the night, The Usos! Jimmy and Jey come out, as they stare down the Vaudevillians.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev w/ Lana Ziggler and Rusev have a back and forth match, where Ziggler looked like he was about to pick up the win. Before Ziggler is able to hit the Zig Zag on Rusev, The Miz’s theme hits. Ziggler looks up at the stage, waiting for Miz, but he doesn’t come. Rusev uses this distraction to attack Ziggler, and before long, he has The Accolade locked in, and Ziggler is tapping out.
After the match, Rusev doesn’t let go of The Accolade. He keeps it in, and before long, Ziggler passes out from the pain. Zack Ryder’s theme hits, and he runs down to the ring. Rusev lets go of The Accolade and gets ready to fight Ryder, but Ryder hits Rusev with a Rough Ryder, which forces Rusev from the ring. Ryder checks on Ziggler, as Rusev yells at them, to close the show.MONEY IN THE BANK

Raw starts with the theme of Roman Reigns. A genuine mixed reaction welcomes Reigns, as he walks out onto the stage, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. Reigns walks to the ring and enters, and stands in the middle of the ring, taking in his reaction. Reigns says the fans can boo all they want, and says he doesn’t care if they boo or cheer, because he is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and says that will not change this Sunday at Money in the Bank. He says that won’t change when he gets cashed in on. He says it won’t change because people think its cool to boo him. He says he will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion until he decides he doesn’t want to be the champion anymore. Reigns receive boos, and he laughs at them. Reigns then says Seth Rollins wants people to think he doesn’t care about the fans at all. He says he does care. He says he cares about entertaining the fans, and thats why he’s the champion, and thats why he’s on Raw each and every week, and why he is so willing to defend the WWE Championship as often as possible. Reigns says at Money in the Bank, he’ll show Seth Rollins exactly why he’s The WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Apollo Crews vs. Curtis AxelCrews easily handles Axel throughout the match, and he looks to finish Axel with a Gorilla Press, and looks to hit a standing moonsault, but Sheamus’ theme hits, and he walks out on stage. Axel is able to use this distraction to hit Crews with Turning Heads, and is able to get the cover for 3.Baron Corbin is shown backstage, as he says that he will be seen as the most dangerous man in the history of WWE. He says he’s going to forge a path of destruction like never before. He says he doesn’t care about being the best, he just cares about winning, and says he’ll do anything to get win. Shane and Stephanie McMahon come out onto the stage to announce their next round of picks. Shane says his next pick has protested against the New Era, and says he’s not ready to be pushed aside. Shane says his next pick is Sheamus! Sheamus’ theme hits, and he walks out onto the stage. Sheamus poses on the stage, then shakes Shane McMahon’s hand. Stephanie then says her next pick is the first woman to go off the board. She says she first introduced this woman to the big stage, as part of what was then known as the Diva’s Revolution. She says her pick is Sasha Banks! Sasha comes out onto the stage and poses, as she stands next to Stephanie McMahon. The Social Outcasts are shown backstage, as Axel seems angry. He says he had Apollo Crews right where he wanted him, and says he didn’t need Sheamus’ help to win. Slater agrees, as he says Sheamus stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. Dallas says Sheamus was just trying to help, but Axel says he was trying to steal their spotlight. Summer Rae vs. Becky LynchBecky Lynch had more trouble with Summer Rae than she expected, but was able to put her away fairly quickly with a pumphandle side slam.Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy are shown backstage, as Enzo says that the Dudley Boyz are going to know just what it means to take a beating after Sunday. He says the Dudley Boyz have never taken a beating like the one they will receive at their hands. He says that Dudleyville ain’t got nothing on Queens, and says they’ll wish they never tussled with them. The Miz and Rusev are shown backstage, with Maryse and Lana standing next to their respective partners. Miz tells Rusev to let him get his hands on Dolph Ziggler, and he tells Rusev that he’ll let him get at Zack Ryder. Rusev says he will crush Ryder and says that Ryder won’t even make it to Money in the Bank. Cesaro vs. Kevin OwensCesaro and Owens beat each other down, with the aim to take the other out of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Sunday. Cesaro looked to get Owens in the Cesaro Swing, but Owens was able to push Cesaro back with his feet. Owens stood up and hit Cesaro with a huge clothesline, then picked him up for a Pop-Up Powerbomb to win.Seth Rollins is shown walking backstage, when Renee Young comes up to him. Renee asks Rollins about what Roman Reigns said earlier. All Rollins does, however, is laugh and walk away. The New Day are shown backstage, as Big E says this Sunday will be a huge night for them. He says that Kofi Kingston will climb a ladder, grab the Money in the Bank briefcase, and become Mr. Money in the Bank. Xavier then says that when Kofi cashes in Money in the Bank, they will all the the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Xavier then says that he and Big E will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Vaudevillians that same night. Kofi says Xavier and Big E will have no problems with the Bygone Era, and says that soon, they will be at the top of the tag team and the singles divisions. Xavier then jokes that all they would need would be the Women’s Championship, and they all laugh. Renee Young is shown backstage, as she interviews Natalya. She asks Natalya about her title match against Charlotte at Money in the Bank on Sunday, and Natalya says she can’t wait to finally prove that Charlotte can’t stand on her own two feet. Natalya says Ric Flair won’t be at ringside, and says Dana Brooke won’t be at ringside. She says Charlotte will have to prove herself on her own, or lose the Women’s Championship. Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del RioDel Rio and Ambrose were having a great match against each other, the action going back and forth. However, the match came to an end after the other members of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday became involved in the match, and there was a 7-way brawl between all the men.John Cena is shown backstage, as he says in just 6 days, at Money in the Bank, he will host his Open Challenge. He talks about the Open Challenge for a bit, before he is interrupted by Fandango and Tyler Breeze walking on screen. Breezango talk amongst themselves, before Cena says something to them. Fandango says Cena can’t handle them, saying they’re just too good looking for him. Breeze mocks Cena’s looks, and Breezing both laugh before walking away, leaving Cena looking confused. Shane and Stephanie McMahon come out onto the stage again, as they get ready to announce the 9th round of picks. Shane says his next pick is one of the newest Superstars to come up the ranks from NXT, but says this man doesn’t want to be a part of the New Era. He says that this man will be looking to forge his own path in the WWE, and says this man won the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania on his first night. He announces his pick to be Baron Corbin! Corbin walks out onto the stage, but he doesn’t pose, he doesn’t shake Shane McMahon’s hand, he instead goes back backstage. Stephanie then says her next pick is another member of the Women’s Revolution, and another woman she introduced to the WWE Universe on the same night as her earlier pick, Sasha Banks, and the current Women’s Champion, Charlotte. She announces her pick to be Becky Lynch! Lynch comes out onto the stage, and she poses, before looking over at Stephanie, and reluctantly shaking her hand. Backstage, Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder talk about their tag team match coming up against Rusev and The Miz. Ziggler stresses that its important for them to win as quickly as possible, and to stay fresh for their title matches on Sunday. Ryder agrees, but says he wants to get his hands on the US Title again so badly. Ziggler says he wants to be the Intercontinental Champion too, but those wins will come on Sunday. Rusev w/ Lana and The Miz w/ Maryse vs. Dolph Ziggler and Zack RyderThe Miz and Dolph Ziggler are locked in a heated battle, with Ziggler having the upper hand. Ziggler is able to get Miz backed into the corner, and he looks to hit a stinger splash. Miz moves out of the way just in time, and Ziggler smashes into the corner. Miz looks to hit the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ziggler slips out and hits a Superkick on Miz. Ziggler covers Miz, but only gets 2 after Rusev breaks things up. Roman Reigns vs. SheamusReigns and Sheamus look to take each other out, with Roman Reigns in control. Reigns is able to hit Sheamus with corner clotheslines in quick succession, then backs up and hits him with a Superman Punch. Reigns covers and gets 2, then sets up for the Spear. WWE NEWS
It's being reported that Sheamus has come out of Raw with an injury. During his match with Roman Reigns, he suffered an Inflamed Subscapularis, and will not be able to compete for 3 weeks. He will still be available to the WWE and will be on the road, but cannot compete in matches.
This jeopardizes his match with Apollo Crews at Money in the Bank. Not being able to compete in 6 days, some changes will be made. Current word is that Enzo & Cass vs. The Dudley Boyz will be moved onto the main card, while Apollo Crews will compete in another match during the pre-show.

-SmackDown starts with Shane McMahon in the ring. The ring is set up for a contract signing, as Shane introduces everyone to Thursday Night SmackDown. Shane says tonight, the show will start with the contact signing between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for their WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank. Shane first introduces the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. Reigns comes out and walks down to the ring, and raises his World Title in the air, before sitting on one side of the table and grabbing the microphone sitting on the table. Shane then introduces Seth Rollins, and Rollins comes out onto the stage, smiling and laughing, his arms stretched out wide. Seth walks down to the ring and steps in, and sits across from Reigns and grabs the second microphone. Shane says that on Sunday, Seth Rollins will get his opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Shane says Seth Rollins was forced to vacate the championship in early November after tearing his ACL, MCL, and medical meniscus at a house show. Shane then says that Seth is getting his fair opportunity at the title. Rollins thanks Shane for catching everyone up, then says he’s right. Seth says he never lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and he says he wants it back. Rollins says Reigns has never beaten him in a match when the World Championship was on the line, and says that will not change on Sunday. Reigns just laughs and tells Seth that he doesn’t have a chance on Sunday. Reigns says Rollins is just coming back from a huge injury, and says he’s not going to be himself. Reigns says he’ll exploit the fact that Rollins isn’t going to be 100% yet, and says that leg is a target. Rollins tells Reigns that he’s never felt better, and says he’ll have no problem shutting Reigns’ mouth. Seth signs the contract, followed by Reigns. As soon as Reigns is done signing, Rollins flips the table over on Reigns and pounces on him. Rollins and Reigns brawl, and after a while, Rollins is able to hit a Pedigree on Reigns! Rollins grabs the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and raises it in the air.

Paige lets the PTO go, as Brooke taps behind the ref’s back, and she starts celebrating. She then sees the ref dealing with Charlotte, and walks over, as she yells at Charlotte. The ref holds Paige back, turning his back on Charlotte, and Charlotte gets a slap in. Brooke rolls Paige up, but gets 2, as Paige is able to hit Brooke with a RamPaige, and get the win.
Paige celebrates her win, when she is blindsided by both Dana Brooke and Charlotte. Brooke and Charlotte are beating Paige down, when Natalya’s theme hits. She runs down and quickly clears the ring of Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Charlotte yells at Natalya as she backs up the ramp with her Women’s Championship.
The New Day are shown backstage, as they are dancing their way toward the ring. Suddenly, they are blindsided by The Vaudevillians, as all three men are beaten down by English and Gotch. After the beatdown, they back away from The New Day, leaving them down.

After their match, The Club grab microphones from ringside, as Gallows says that no matter who AJ Styles recruits as his tag team partner, they will personally make sure they both are on the receiving end of the Magic Killer. Anderson says no team in the world is better than The Club, and says that a makeshift team like Styles and anyone he gets is certainly not going to be able to take down The Club.
Enzo and Cass are shown backstage, as The Dudleyz come onto the screen. Enzo and Cass get ready to fight, but Bubba says they aren’t going to fight tonight. He says that on Sunday, they’ll fight. And he says that when they fight, Enzo and Cass are going to feel all the wrath of the Dudley Boyz. Enzo says that the Dudleyz don’t want to fight because they won’t get the advantage of blindsiding them. D-Von says they don’t need to blindside anybody, saying they are the baddest tag team on the planet, and that they can beat any team in a fair fight.
Rusev w/ Lana vs. Dolph Ziggler Ziggler is giving Rusev some trouble, as he has a Sleeper Hold on Rusev, trying to get him to pass out. Rusev falls to a knee, as he looks to be passing out. Rusev then stands, and backs into the corner, forcing Ziggler to drop the hold. Rusev stumbles forward, then charges Ziggler and goes for an avalanche, but Ziggler moves. Rusev runs right into the corner, and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and gets the win on Rusev.
A video package is shown, hyping John Cena’s Open Challenge at Money in the Bank.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon come out onto the stage, ready to announce their next picks. Shane says that his pick could be a champion in just 2 days. He says that his pick has been gunning for this championship since the night after WrestleMania, and that they will finally have their fair shot. He announces his pick to be Natalya! Natalya comes out onto the stage and shakes Shane McMahon’s hand. Stephanie says her next pick is one of the up and coming Superstars of the New Era. She says her pick is one of the most athletic individuals to ever step foot in a WWE ring, who mixes brute strength with freakish agility. She announces her pick to be Apollo Crews! Crews comes out onto the stage and poses, then shakes Stephanie’s hand and thanks her.

The Miz w/ Maryse vs. Zack Ryder The Miz and Zack Ryder are in the middle of a brawl, throwing punches back and forth at each other. The Miz gets the upper hand, as he is able to back Ryder into a corner. He connects with a few extra punches, before he rushes to the other side of the ring, then charges at Ryder, looking for the Awesome Clothesline. Ryder moves, and Miz hangs from the turnbuckle. Ryder grabs Miz from behind and hits a backstabber. Miz sits in the corner, but takes a Broski Boot, before Zack hits him with a Rough Ryder, and covers for 3.
A hype video is shown, promoting Ryback.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon are on the stage, as they get set to announce their final round of picks. Paige comes out onto the stage, and she stands next to Shane McMahon, leaning on his shoulder. Stephanie says her final pick is looking to become a champion on Sunday as well, just like Shane’s pick of Natalya. She says her pick is a former United States and Intercontinental Champion, as she announces her pick to be Zack Ryder! Ryder comes out onto the stage, visibly excited, as he shakes Stephanie’s hand, and does the fist pump to the tune of “Woo! Woo! Woo!”
A hype video is shown for the return of the Wyatt Family.
Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio Ambrose, Zayn and Cesaro were able to work together fairly easily tonight. Owens, Jericho and Del Rio, however, weren’t. Throughout the match, the heels were constantly arguing and tagging themselves in. The match ended when Kevin Owens tagged himself in to get his hands on Sami Zayn. Owens quickly came into the ring, but found himself overwhelmed, as Sami was able to get the upper hand on Owens, and eventually hit him with a Brainbuster to get the win for his team.
After the match, an argument broke out between the six men, as a huge brawl erupted between all six men. Owens and Zayn went at it, as Jericho attacked Ambrose, leaving Del Rio and Cesaro in a brawl. Men were being thrown from the ring and eventually, ladders were brought into the ring. At the end of everything.
