7-2 in predictions? Sooooooo predictable and boring, right? lol, wrong!!
Nice PPV Jon! Kinda saw the Balor turning on Styles thing, but other than that it was good. Surprised you didn't let Cena lose to Corbin... Wonder if there's a rivalry that brews on Monday because of it?? Looking forward to your Raw!

Raw starts with Roman Reigns’ theme hitting, as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes down to the ring. Reigns holds the championship up in the air in the middle of the ring, then lays it on his shoulder. He begins talking, saying that he showed Seth Rollins what its like to be a real champion. Reigns says he didn’t need any help to beat Rollin last night, and says that he’s never needed help to win a one-on-one match. Reigns says he’s still the World Champion, and says that Seth Rollins is not good enough to fairly become the champion. This prompts Seth Rollins to come out, and Rollins tells Reigns that he’s not done with him yet. Rollins says he didn’t win last night, but says that doesn’t mean he can’t become the champion. Rollins says Reigns has beaten him once in a title match, while Rollins has beaten him multiple times. Reigns says every time Rollins beat him, he had The Authority’s help. Reigns points out that there’s no Authority anymore, and says that he never could get by without help. Reigns says Rollins always had someone there to help him, whether it was him and Dean Ambrose, or it was Kane and Big Show, or J&J Security, or Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, someone was always there to hold Rollins’ hand. Rollins says he was always the best of The Shield, and says Reigns needs to piggyback off The Shield’s success to even have a chance alone. Rollins says Reigns is not WWE World Heavyweight Champion material, and says he will take the title off of him. Rollins then walks backstage, leaving Reigns in the ring.
Baron Corbin vs. Titus O’Neil Baron Corbin makes quick work of O’Neil, taking him out in convincing fashion, with extra aggression due to losing last night. Corbin ends the match with the End of Days.
After winning his match, Baron Corbin demands a microphone. He is handed one, and he stands in the middle of the ring, staring into the camera. He simply says he wants a rematch with John Cena. He then drops the mic and leaves the ring, walking backstage.
The Miz and Rusev are backstage with Maryse and Lana, when Shane and Stephanie McMahon come up to them. Shane and Stephanie say they agreed that as both The Miz and Rusev are Superstars of SmackDown, that leaves Raw without an exclusive title. So, Shane says that at Battleground, The Miz and Rusev will face each other. The winner will get to keep their title, while the loser’s title is vacated and that title becomes exclusive to Raw. Both Miz and Rusev start arguing with the McMahons, but they say the decision is final and leave.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Ascension The Ascension put up a decent fight against Enzo and Cass, but the match ended after Cass hit the East River Crossing on Viktor.
Renee Young is shown backstage, as she announces her guest to be Apollo Crews. Renee asks Crews about Sheamus, and Crews says Sheamus’ injury last week was unfortunate. Crews says he really wanted to show Sheamus that The New Era is superior, and show Sheamus that its time for him to step aside. Crews says he still wants to challenge Sheamus, and challenges him to a match at Battleground.
Charlotte and Dana Brooke are in the ring, as Charlotte says she’s proven herself to be the best champion in the history of any women’s division in WWE history! She says she’s beaten everyone put in front of her for months, and says there isn’t anyone else left to beat. She then invites anyone to come out and challenge her, when Sasha Banks comes out. Sasha says she has never had her fair, one on one shot at Charlotte, and says its about time she got it. Charlotte then says that if Sasha can beat Dana Brooke right now, she can challenge for her title.
Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks Sasha is determined to beat Dana Brooke and get a one-on-one shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. However, she’s having trouble putting Brooke away. Brooke has Sasha in a bodyscissors, as she laughs in her face. Banks throws punches at Brooke to get out of the hold, but Brooke dodges them, and continues laughing. Sasha fights her way out of the hold, and goes for a hip toss, but Brooke blocks it and counters into a hip toss of her own. Brooke starts getting cocky, and picks Sasha up, mocking her. Sasha takes advantage, and catches her off guard with a Bank Statement! Sasha locks in the hold, and Brooke taps out.
Kevin Owens is backstage, as he gloats about becoming Mr. Money in the Bank. Dean Ambrose then enters the shot and tells Owens that he should be Mr. Money in the Bank instead. Owens laughs and tells Ambrose that he wouldn’t be a good champion, and says that he doesn’t deserve the Money in the Bank briefcase. Ambrose says Owens wouldn’t be any better of a champion than he would.
Finn Bálor and The Club are in the ring, all with microphones. Bálor says that there is no way he would turn his back on his friends, Gallows and Anderson. He says that the entire time they’ve been in the WWE, he’s been pulling the strings. Bálor says that The Club, this entire time, has been The Bálor Club, with him as the leader. He then turns his attention to AJ Styles, where Bálor says that AJ had a chance to join The Bálor Club, but decided he was too good for it. Bálor says that was a major mistake, one that he will pay for. Gallows and Anderson then say that while Finn deals with Styles, they will be setting their sights on bigger and better things: The WWE Tag Team Championships. Anderson says the reign of The New Day has gone on long enough, and says that its time for new champions. Bálor says that soon, The Bálor Club will take over the entire WWE.
John Cena is being interviewed by JoJo. JoJo asks Cena about Corbin’s challenge earlier, and Cena says he’s happy to take on any challenger, any time, and says that all Corbin needs to do is say the word, and they will have another match.
Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio Cesaro has Del Rio in the corner, and he charges him, hitting him with a European Uppercut. Cesaro then charges back across the ring, and charges again, hitting another European Uppercut. He repeats a couple more times, before Del Rio stumbles forward. Cesaro pulls Del Rio’s legs out from under him and starts the Cesaro Swing. After 10 rotations, Cesaro drops Del Rio and looks to finish things with the Neutralizer. He picks Del Rio off the mat and sets up, but Del Rio flips Cesaro over him. Cesaro pulls himself up in the corner, and Del Rio hits him with an Enzugiri. He then sets up for the Cross Armbreaker, but Cesaro counters, and is able to hit Del Rio with the Neutralizer, and covers for the win.
After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacks Cesaro, and locks him in the Cross Armbreaker on his bad shoulder. Cesaro quickly taps out, but Del Rio keeps it in until he feels enough damage has been done. Del Rio stands over Cesaro, then walks backstage.
AJ Styles is shown backstage, when The New Day come up to him. Xavier Woods says that they all have a common enemy in The Bálor Club, saying that they’re now all targets. Kofi offers AJ to join forces and take down The Bálor Club, to not let them take over the WWE. AJ agrees for their help, saying he doesn’t like having help, but says when its 3 against 1, he really doesn’t have a choice.
Chris Jericho is being interviewed by Renee Young. Renee asks Jericho about the Money in the Bank ladder match last night, as Jericho says its a travesty that he isn’t the current holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase. Jericho says he invented the match, and says the fact that he’s never won it is a disgrace. Sami Zayn comes up, as he says that maybe Jericho hasn’t won Money in the Bank because he just isn’t good enough anymore. Sami says Jericho was great in his day, but says Jericho’s time has come an gone. Jericho tells Sami that he’s still the Best in the World at what he does, and says he’ll gladly show Sami that any time he wants. Sami then challenges Jericho to a match tonight, and Jericho agrees.
Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler Seth looks to take out his frustration of losing last night on Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Rollins have a good match, as Ziggler looks for the upset, hitting Rollins with a Superkick! Ziggler covers, but Rollins kicks out at 2, and Ziggler sets up for the Zig Zag. Rollins stands and takes the Zig Zag! But, he rolls out of the ring, as Ziggler looks frustrated. He goes to leave the ring, but the ref keeps him in the ring. Ziggler again goes to leave the ring, but Rollins pulls down on Ziggler’s head, and Ziggler shoots back. Rollins climbs onto the apron and springboards off the top rope, hitting a knee to Ziggler’s head. Rollins picks Ziggler off the mat and hits him with a Pedigree, and covers for the win.
Shane and Stephanie McMahon are shown backstage, when The Golden Truth come in. Stephanie asks them what they want, and Truth says that with Raw and SmackDown becoming separate brands, and with the signing period having started, they’ve decided which brand they want to sign for. Goldust says that they thought long and hard, and have decided they want to sign for Monday Night Raw! Stephanie smiles, and thanks them for signing to Raw, as she hands them both contracts, and they officially sign for Raw.
Seth Rollins is shown backstage, as he says that he will get his hands on Roman Reigns again, and says that he will become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho Zayn and Jericho have a great match, and Jericho looks to put Sami in his place. Jericho hits Sami with a Lionsault, and goes to lock in the Walls of Jericho. Sami fights, and pushes Jericho away. He stands and charges, but Jericho grabs Sami and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor. Jericho taunts Sami, and turns his back to him. Sami climbs onto the apron and waits for Jericho to turn back around. When he does, Sami springboards and hits Jericho with an elbow, then stands and picks Jericho off the mat. Sami hits him with a Blue Thunder Bomb, and covers, but only gets two. Sami stands, as Jericho pulls himself up in the corner. Sami charges and hits the Helluva Kick, and covers Jericho for the win.WWE Battleground

WWE NEWSSuperstars and Main Event? Many questions have been asked about the fate of WWE Superstars and WWE Main Event after the brand split. SmackDown starts with Seth Rollins standing in the ring. Rollins says Roman Reigns got lucky at Money in the Bank, when he beat him. Rollins says Reigns would never beat him without luck, saying he’s clearly the better performer. Rollins says he should be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and calls out Roman Reigns. He says he wants to challenge Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight! After a while, with no music hitting, Rollins begins to laugh, saying Reigns knows he would lose the title tonight, and says he’s too much of a coward to defend the title tonight. Shane McMahon’s theme hits, and he comes out onto the stage. Shane says tonight, Roman Reigns is not in the arena. He says Reigns was granted permission to spend time with his family tonight. Shane then says that Seth Rollins has not earned a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, saying he lost his opportunity at Money in the Bank. Rollins says he should be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion anyway, but asks Shane how exactly he wants him to earn a title match. Shane says its very simple. Shane says Rollins needs to win a match, and prove that he deserves to be the #1 Contender. Shane says tonight, Seth Rollins will be in a match, and if he wins, he will challenge Roman Reigns at Battleground for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins asks who his opponent will be. Shane smiles, and says his opponent tonight, is Dean Ambrose!
Apollo Crews vs. Curtis Axel Crews makes quick work of Axel, putting him away quickly with a spin-out powerbomb.
Apollo Crews is celebrating his quick win over Axel, when he’s suddenly hit with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. Sheamus stands over the downed Crews, mocking him.
JoJo is shown backstage, as she announces her guest to be Sasha Banks. JoJo asks Sasha about her now promised title match. Dana Brooke w/ Charlotte vs. Alicia Fox Fox puts up a fight against Dana, and looked like she was going to win at one point. However, a distraction from Charlotte allowed Dana Brooke to recover and hit a Samoan driver for the win.
Chris Jericho is shown backstage, and he says on Monday Night Raw, he may have lost to Sami Zayn, but says he got the last laugh. He gloats, saying he put Sami Zayn on the shelf for 3 months, and says because of him, Sami will miss Battleground, SummerSlam, and Night of Champions, and will be in the back of the line for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Jericho says Sami Zayn has proven he is not tough enough to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
AJ Styles is backstage, as he says that at Money in the Bank, he was betrayed by Finn Bálor. He says that Bálor is a coward, saying he needs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson as backup in order to get ahead. Styles says The Bálor Club will not take over, and says that he and The New Day will put a stop to them, before they can even get started.
A hype video is shown, promoting the Wyatt Family.
The Bálor Club vs. The Lucha Dragons The Club and the Lucha Dragons put on a show, with the hard hitting, powerful style of Anderson and Gallows against the high flying style of the Lucha Dragons. Kalisto is able to drop Anderson to his knees, and he runs off the ropes, then hits Anderson with a Frankensteiner. Kalisto turns Anderson over and covers, but its broken up by Gallows. Sin Cara springboards into the ring, but is caught and tossed aside by Gallows. Gallows then hits Kalisto with a Gallows Pole and puts Anderson on top of Kalisto, as the ref counts 3.
Gallows helps Anderson up, as they celebrate their win. Suddenly, a trombone is heard, as The New Day appears on the Titantron. Xavier says that Anderson and Gallows were barely able to win that match. He says Kalisto had things finished, and the only reason they won is because Luke Gallows came into the ring to break things up. Kofi says that if this is how the Bálor Club is going to win their matches, it is a disgrace. Big E says that Gallows and Anderson need to learn to work on their own before they can be a great team, like The New Day. Xavier says thats why The New Day is such a great team. They’re all great on their own, and are even better together. They then start clapping, saying “New Day Rocks,” as The Bálor Club are not happy.
Baron Corbin is shown backstage, as he says that at Money in the Bank, John Cena was lucky to beat him. Corbin says Cena is past his prime, and says that he needs to step aside and let him take over. She then asks about his match against Seth Rollins tonight. Ambrose says he’ll do whatever it takes to keep Rollins away from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Baron Corbin vs. Zack Ryder Corbin toys with Ryder, mocking him, not taking him seriously. Corbin has Ryder in the corner, leaning back into him, and throwing elbows back at him. Corbin then steps up, pulls Zack back and looks for the End of Days, but Ryder counters and hits Corbin with a facebuster. Ryder stands, and sets up the Rough Ryder, but Corbin counters into the Deep Six, then quickly picks Ryder up and hits the End of Days, covering for 3.
Rusev and Lana are shown backstage, as Rusev says that at Battleground, he will leave, still the United States Champion! Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose Knowing the implications of this match, neither man held anything back. Rollins looked to end things after attempting a Pedigree, but Ambrose was able to counter it with a back body drop. Ambrose tosses Rollins into the corner and charges him, but Rollins jumps up and hits Ambrose in the face with both of his knees. Rollins then jumps to the second rope and dives, hitting a cross body on Ambrose. Rollins stands, picks Ambrose up and quickly hits the Pedigree to get the win.WWE Battleground

Raw starts with Roman Reigns’ theme, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes out to resounding boos. Once he makes it to the ring, Reigns says he doesn’t care if he’s booed or if he’s cheered, all he cares about is being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Reigns says he’s The Guy, and says the fact that Seth Rollins is getting a second chance at his title is pathetic. He says he beat Seth Rollins, 1, 2, 3, in the middle of the ring at Money in the Bank. Reigns says there should be a new challenger for his title, and Kevin Owens’ theme hits. Owens comes out, and says he agrees with Reigns. He says there should be a new challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He says Seth Rollins had his shot at redemption, and failed. He then says that he could be the new challenger for the title. He says he’s Mr. Money in the Bank, and says he can be the “next challenger” any time he pleases. Owens says when he does cash in Money in the Bank, he will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Seth Rollins’ theme comes out, and he says that Owens may be Mr. Money in the Bank, but that Owens will never successfully cash it in if he’s the champion. Rollins says he beat Dean Ambrose on SmackDown, and earned a shot at the WWE World Championship at Battleground. He says Reigns got lucky at Money in the Bank, and says he’ll prove that when he becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Dean Ambrose’s theme hits, as he comes out, and says he doesn’t think either Owens or Rollins will be the champion any time soon. Ambrose says Reigns did beat Rollins, and says Reigns will do it again. As for Owens, he says Owens isn’t smart enough to use the Money in the Bank briefcase right. Owens retorts, asking Ambrose if he’s smart enough then. Ambrose says he isn’t, but says he might just be crazy enough. Stephanie McMahon comes out, and she says that no matter anyone’s opinion on the matter, Seth Rollins did earn the #1 Contendership on SmackDown, and will challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground. But tonight, however, she says a tag team match is in order. She says tonight, it will be Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, brothers reunited once again, facing off against Seth Rollins and Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens!
The New Day w/ Xavier Woods vs. The Bálor Club Big E is in the ring, with Luke Gallows, as Gallows is stuck in the corner. Big E and Kofi tag in and out, as Gallows takes the Unicorn Stampede. However, Gallows moves out of the way a double team corner dropkick, and picks Kofi off the mat. He throws him into the ropes, and hits him with a big boot. Xavier gets on the apron and plays the trombone, trying to distract Gallows. He gets the attention of the ref, as Karl Anderson enters the ring and he and Gallows hit the Magic Killer, and Gallows covers Kofi for 3.
Shane McMahon is shown backstage, in an office with the SmackDown logo in the back. He gets a knock on his door, and in walks Corporate Kane. Kane says he’s given thought as to which brand he would like to be a part of, and says he feels the best decision would be to join the SmackDown roster. Shane shakes Kane’s hand, and thanks him for the decision, as he gives Kane a contract to sign.
A graphic is shown of Finn Bálor, hyping his first match on the main roster, which is next.
Finn Bálor w/ Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Zack Ryder Bálor seemed to be toying with Ryder throughout the match, allowing Ryder to come back at times. However, Bálor was able to put Ryder down with the Coup de Grâce.
After the match, Finn Bálor and The Bálor Club are in the ring, as Bálor cuts a promo. Bálor says AJ and The New Day can team up all they want. In the end, The Bálor Club will rule the WWE. AJ and The New Day attack, as The Bálor Club quickly leave the ring.
Rusev and Miz are shown backstage, as they’re arguing about who’s going to win their match at Battleground. With both of them speaking at the same time, its too difficult to make out anything any of them say.
Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins are shown talking backstage, about the main event tag team match. Rollins says they need to work together to take out Reigns and Ambrose. Rollins tells Owens he’ll focus on Reigns, while he focuses on Ambrose. Owens reminds Rollins that he couldn’t beat Roman Reigns one on one, and says instead, he’ll take out Reigns, while Rollins distracts Ambrose so he can get the win. Owens then walks away from Rollins, leaving Rollins looking very angry.
Charlotte w/ Dana Brooke vs. Becky Lynch Charlotte and Becky have a good match, where it looks like Becky will win with the Dis-Arm-Her. Dana is able t help, however, as the ref has his back turned away from Dana, looking for the submission. Dana pulls Charlotte to the ropes, allowing her to grab it. She then yells for the ref’s attention, and the ref forces the break. Becky begins yelling at Dana, allowing Charlotte to hit Becky with Natural Selection and get the win.
Charlotte and Dana celebrate Charlotte’s win, when Sasha Banks’ theme hits, and she comes out onto the stage. She and Charlotte stare down, as Sasha motions that she’ll be the champion.
John Cena comes down to the ring, as he says that at Money in the Bank, he had a hell of a match with Baron Corbin, and says that Corbin just came up a bit short. He says Corbin then challenged him to a rematch, but says that Corbin needs to challenge him to his face. Cena calls out Corbin, as he comes out to the ring. Corbin says Cena got lucky at Money in the Bank, and tells him its not his time anymore. Cena says that Corbin wants a rematch, and says to challenge him right now for that right. Corbin gets in Cena’s face, and challenges him to a rematch. Cena accepts, and Corbin quickly hits End of Days on Cena, leaving him down and out.
Alberto Del Rio is interviewed by Renee Young. Renee asks Del Rio about Cesaro. Del Rio says Cesaro is not worthy enough to even shine his boots, much less be beating him in the ring, and says he’ll make sure Cesaro never wrestles again.
Rusev w/ Lana vs. Cesaro The United States Champion had trouble with Cesaro through the match, but looked to have things done after he countered a Swissblade, landing on his feet, and hitting a jumping side kick. Rusev then stomps on Cesaro’s back, setting up the Accolade. Cesaro rolls around and pushes Rusev back and stands, hitting Rusev with a huge European Uppercut. This staggers Rusev, as Cesaro quickly sets up and executes the Neutralizer, and gets the win on the US Champion.
Chris Jericho is shown backstage, as he says that tonight, he’ll show exactly why he is the best in the world at what he does, when he easily defeats the waste of space that is Dolph Ziggler. He says that he’ll force Ziggler to tap out, and he’ll move on to bigger and better things.
JoJo is shown backstage, as she announces her guest to be AJ Styles. JoJo asks AJ about the Bálor Club. AJ says its pathetic how they had to team up to take one man out. And while that man may be phenomenal, he says that if Bálor wanted to make a name for himself, he should have challenged him one on one. Now, he says, he’s teaming up with The New Day to be able to take down The Bálor Club. He says, while he hates being forced into a team, even with great guys like The New Day, that its a necessity.
Shane McMahon is shown backstage, in his SmackDown office, on the phone, when a knock comes to his door. The Dudley Boyz walk in, as they say they want to sign to SmackDown. Shane hands both of them a contract, as he thanks them for joining SmackDown. Bubba says they’re signing to SmackDown to show teams like The Vaudevillians why the Attitude Era is better than The New Era.
Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler Jericho and Ziggler have a great match, but in the end, Jericho does exactly what he said he was going to do, by making Ziggler tap out to the Walls of Jericho.
After the match, Jericho is celebrating his win. Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they come back on, The Wyatt Family is in the ring! Jericho stares down with Bray, before they begin brawling, as Strowman and Rowan stay behind. Bray hits Jericho with Sister Abigail, and kneels over him, as the screen goes dark.
JoJo is shown backstage again, as her guest this time is Sheamus. She asks Sheamus about Apollo Crews’ challenge to him, and he says he had no problem beating him at Money in the Bank, but an unfortunate injury set that aside. He says he’ll have no problem doing it at Battleground instead, and accepts the challenge.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are shown backstage, as Reigns says that they’re brothers, and that Rollins and Owens are going to have to be taken care of. He tells Dean that he’ll focus on Rollins, and that Dean should focus on Owens. Ambrose says he likes that plan, saying both those weasels will get whats coming to them.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens Reigns and Rollins are in the ring, as Rollins is limping around on one leg. Reigns goes after Rollins, but Rollins goes into the ropes, to get Reigns away. The ref pushes Reigns away and checks on Rollins, as this distraction allows Kevin Owens to come into the ring and hit a Pop-Up Powerbomb on Reigns. Ambrose comes into the ring, as he and Owens brawl. With Reigns down and out, Rollins goes down into the cover and gets the win.
With Owens and Ambrose still brawling, Seth picks Reigns off the mat and hits him with a Pedigree. He then slowly stands and poses over Reigns to end the show.WWE Battleground
