First Casting NewsThe first piece of news after the announcement of the DC Universe on TNT deal was the news about who will be playing one of the star characters on the show, Bruce Wayne aka Batman. Batman/Bruce Wayne will be played by the Supernatural star, Jensen Ackles. Ackles has already had roles in Batman before as he voiced Jason Todd aka Red Hood in the DC Animated Movie, Batman: Under the Red Hood. Around the same time that Ackles was announced to play Batman, Maggie Lawson of Psych fame is now slated to play Lois Lane in the show about Superman even though we still have no clue who will be playing Superman. Also announced was the casting of Adrian Pasdar who has been on other superhero shows such as Heroes and Agents of SHIELD. He will be playing Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.
